It's looking like my first clone of this jilly is going to do better than the mom... Ill get pictures when lights come back on..
lol oriah you could sit another young plant right in the center of that manifold. Are you gonna train any branches to the center. I thinknugs does just to get better use of light and to improve overall airflow. The circle of awesome is just that though lol.
one more thing do you use fans in your flowering rooms? I've got on in there right now bit it's taking up a lot of space. I think I'm going to rig it up in there somewhere above the plants.
i started the clone and planted it a bit off center because I intended to just lay but she kept doing the bilateral thing so I decided to ml one more time and see how it does without all the hermies/seeds. But I just realized that I'm not gonna have enlightened hight to do that so I'm only going to a 4 and then lst I hope it works out like I imagine!

yeah, i know there will be somewhat of some extra space some where in there... But i think part of my plane is to let the light get down and in on every cola. Hopefully they fill out the whole way up. Part of my problem is my 400w lights actually dont have a shit ton of penetration. So i figure if i can make space for the light to get on a big portion of every cola, it may come out with a bigger yield for it.
The Misty plant that i just did, had a lot less leaves then most strains, and they held out from the buds by some pretty stout stems. Plenty of light got to the whole colas.
I am actually thinking of how to arrange the canopy next time, so it mimics the ark of the bulb throw.

Thats what I got going on too. 1 plant under a 400w. I figure penetration is not an issue if they have a nice open area to get into

what are the demensions of that power shower of yours Dub? I didn't want to do too many under a 400w because I think I read where nugs said his plants end up like 28" wide and I like to stay within a 3x3 area with my 400. Iknow you use them stakes so maybe you keep a smaller foot print. I thought about doing 4 in 5 gallon pots with 12" rings but, idk this is my first mainline so I guess I will see. Seems like 3 woould fit nice and comfy under there but I havn't even gotten to flower yet so only time will tell I guess.

30" x 30" and using every square inch!! lol. Yeah, I read that about his 28 inch footprint also. i am trying to pack em all in there, and keep the best airflow i can throw the canopy... That won't come til i trim out and lollipop the girls tho!

May I suggest setting your 400 right in the middle of that thing after it stretches?
I'll be ding this with a 600 next grow, one big ML with a 600 right in the middle of it

@ whodatnation - Thanks a lot friend. I have looked at vert for a while. I think what your doing, with the mainlines running up the screen is the shit. Would rep you again if i could. but yeah, if i could turn my bulb sideways, id try it. Im pretty sure they're horizontal only.
But, pimpin idea. You'd have to get the colas farther away from each other then that i think, cuz youd have a close as hell bulb in the middle of mine. burn em up. But what about in like a 3x3 tent, just one big ass 32 cola monster, that gos to the outsides of the tent. Then you'd have room for your lights, although i think like 2 250w light in line in there would be the shit. Have em in a cool tube, so all the heat gets pulled right out. Then you have a 5' tall by at least 10' around of usable cola space. thats a lot of medicine.

My grow boxes are 4x4, I think with a 3-3.5 foot diameter vert screen and a bare bulb would work out great. Like I said, would veg it for a while getting it to size but its gonna be awesome I already have 2 girls vegging for this.
