The Judge heard the case today to shut down the entire AMMA

Actually legislation to change marijuana possession from a felony to a misdemeanor was attempted to be brought to the state legislature but it was not even heard in committee. This was directly after prop 203 was voted in and took effect. It will be a long time before the state legislature even considers reducing possession charges let alone passing decriminalisation. Why do you think it took multiple ballot initiatives and changing the law to protect voter approved initiatives to get medical marijuana which is just a fucking excuse for people not to be persecuted by society for growing and smoking a fucking plant.
We need to fight for the folks in turmoil!

That folk could be you or I!

I will fight as if I were one of them!

I think dispensaries are conflating the AMMA with dispensary business for messaging its own interests. Whatever, NBD.

If I can get meds from places like Elements whilst I learn to grow, I won't care if dispenaries open or not.

Bill Montgomery reminds me of a high school dean of students.

I voted for Flake, and a few "R"s. Bill is a COWARD for hiding behind the federal skirt. What a wuss. He is no Goldwater.
You voted for Flake when Marc Victor is a great guy and much better for the job. Not to mention all for ending the drug war.

I'd like to see the dispensaries and sales of ID cards shut down. Let your doctors rec be your ID, no paying the state $150. Let patients grow their own 12 plants and donate (actually donate) their overages to other patient friends/family to keep themselves under the 2.5oz limit until next harvest. 2.5oz for me is a 2 - 2.5 month supply, and geting a harvest every 2 months with 6 in flower and 6 vegging, that's all I need. Allowing patients to buy 2.5oz every 2 weeks from a dispensary is a joke, and wreaks of the potential dispensary owners own self interest. No one smokes that much pot, no one even eats that much pot, but a dispensary owner would sure like to sell that much pot. The AMMA as written clearly benefits dispensary owners over patients and that's not in the spirit of true MMJ.

What's good for you isn't good for others necessarily... I personally consume far more than yourself and know there has to be patients out there breaking the 2.5 oz per 2 week mark

Yeah, agreed.

Also, what about people that make edibles, tinctures, and healing oil?

Did I read the article wrong or something? I just got out of it that a guy opened a case because they aren't allowing him to open a dispensary. How does this shut down AMMA?

It doesn't. The dispensary news is exaggerating the scope and impact of the case. Alarmist, but yes it could be bad news for dispensaries, not the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act. Some among us are rooting for that to happen, no?

I love growing my own medicine. I love having a collective that can help between harvests. Hmmmm, I just might have to join those who oppose dispensaries.

A court order for a dispensary to not open is a good sign for the "25 Mile Rule" patients/caregiver who would have been affected simply by their location!

This, I was thinking the same thing got my grow card for another year gonna suck when renewal comes because if they do pass it ma and pa dispensaries gonna be everywhere within 25 miles.

Mom and Pop dispensaries generally care more about the quality of their medicine. The AZ big dogs are going throw whatever chemicals they can at their product for big yields and then peddle the resulting trash to unsuspecting dispensary operators and patients. Does the product labeling in Arizona require a list of nutes or ferts?

In the off chance their is well grown quality on the shelves (ESP. chronic organic, veganic etc.), it will surely not come cheap.

Completely spoken like someone who is pissed they couldn't get a job growing for a Dispensary.

Guys- lighten up. I know a couple handfuls of the folks who won Dispensary licenses and they are SOLID guys who have been growing quality in this town for 5-10yrs. Don't just lump everyone together and assume its all a bunch of big corporations or something.
