so i have one female under a 400whps light. 1 and a half weeks in heres some pics i will be updating, and looking for some insight on how to cure this heating issue that i am facing currently. it is in the low 40s every night and morning. i switched my lighting over to the night cycle because of the temps we have been having in my area. in other words this is going to be an experiment to see how well the plant handles cold weather! i have noticed some yellowing of new growth areas. any one know if this is a factor of cold? oh yeah! i lsted it, but never topped it, any advantages? also i flowered under 3 45w cfls could explain the lanky growths?

You need a heater. It's been getting really cold in my area too and all I do is stick my mini heater in my grow room on a low setting and they are good all day. I don't know if the yellowing is because of the cold however, sorry.

Cheap heater ;). I am jealous, I just had to setup an exterior hidden intake vent to prepare for my purple widow as no matter how hard I try the temp wont drop below 65 at night.

I've used a 1500w radiator style heater with outside temps down to 15 below zero, my grow shed was about 55 in dark, 75 in light...also tried a kerosine heater, messy but effective...

could you insulate a small enough area that your light would keep it warm enough?
i dont even have solid walls, the area i have to use, the opening is less than 3x3 so i would have to make solid walls first, and i dont think moving osb board alone would be a good idea, espessially up a ladder. i have been looking into cheap heaters and so forth, its been chill but the girl seems to be holding up well. i will post more pictures before the weekend.
