The house voted to repeal Obamacare will it pass the senate?

The trouble with your statement is that a large group of voters in fact DO believe this somehow helps them!

How to change that? There's little doubt that working class conservatives are indeed screwing themselves by supporting such politicians and policies but until they can be convinced of their error, they'll enthusiastically keep making it.

The Left needs to come up with a narrative that effectively conveys this right wing, inequality serving propaganda.
by the mid term election they should see the higher cost for health care. hopefully that will convince them but there will always be those that "know the truth and do not want to be confused by facts"

There are quite a lot of those these days, and we have a mainstream media that actively works to manufacture more of them.

After all, they're awfully productive people- at least for the wealthy and powerful who take advantage of their ignorance.

I got a gut feeling that trump won't run in 2020 and make up some excuse his fans will eat up. I at least think he knows if he runs again he'll get wrecked at the polls.
You're gut IS telling you the truth, the orange turd is already making statements that support the idea he might not be around pass a 4 year term. Guess he finally realized this being President thing is not like being in the boardroom.

I've called that asshole's office before.

He is a horrible senator who only represents who voted for him.

The last reasonable republican senator we had was John Heinz. Reasonable republicans are as rare as dinosaurs now. Good luck finding one.
Don't forget Mario (scumbag) Scavello they're both assholes.

No, he's not stupid at all.

Unlike the middle class people who vote for him.

I still remember when I was a little kid, my dad told me one day, 'I hope you grow up to become a republican because that means you'll be rich.'

I was taught politics from my FDR new deal union Democrat dad at a very early age.
Thanks dad.

Was your dad as big a racist as FDR ? I hope not.

has anybody heard when the CBO scoring of this disaster is supposed to be released?

how could the "fiscally conservative" GOP vote on anything without knowing its' costs?

one part of me wants this to pass just to see the meltdown afterwards when people realize just how bad ACHA is compared to ACA.

i dont' see it making it thru the Senate; even the Koch Bros think it's a steaming pile

The Republican Party is 'fiscally conservative' exactly like Fix News is 'fair and balanced'.

This is the same bill from last month and voted down the only thing different is the $8 billion added to it to cover preexisting conditions called the Upton amendment so this already has been scored, this score estimated 24million would lose their healthcare.

So once again Republican whores went along with this disaster because they were paid off.

But the senate will wait for a scoring from the CBO before voting on a new bill.

Record profits
But the claim that corporations are losing money on Obamacare ignores the record-breaking profits and compensation packages that health insurers continue to collect.

Consider UnitedHealth, the nation's largest health insurer that is leaving the marketplace next year. UnitedHealth claims that Obamacare has reduced its 2016 earnings by $850 million. While they might have $850 million less than they wanted, UntedHealth’s profits are still soaring.

In fact, UnitedHealth announced record-breaking profits in 2015, followed by an even better year this year. In July 2016, UnitedHealth celebrated revenues that quarter totalling $46.5 billion, an increase of $10 billion since the same time last year. And company filings show that UnitedHealth’s CEO Stephen J. Hemsley made over $20 million in 2015. To be fair, that is a pay cut. The previous year, in 2014, Hemsley took home $66 million in compensation.
