Im not an old schooler, more like new schooler, who uses old methods..My first indoor grow is going on...Im growing with fluros, t8 ones..Im using 3 light fixtures(each holds 2 bulbs, each 58 watts-right know i have cool whites for vegg)....And Im growing the great strain of White widow...Hehehe..

So, can i post some random pix later in here maybe to compare our old style growing:lol:?

* Sure I would love to see your pics. I have a t5 4 bulb system but it grows the plants too much. I used it once and in 5 1/2 weeks it was damn near 2 1/2 ft! By the time it was done with budding it was 5 ft even! The multiple bulb fluorescents you use definetely work better. I posted my preferred grow and economy prices on top of that.

Really, the shittiest bud ever will become great bud? Do you sprinkle fairy dust on it to make the seeds turn into pockets of resin?

I've seen some shitty bud, and no amount of curing will ever make it something it isn't.

I totally believe your hippie style grow will produce some buds you can smoke and get high...but it isn't the optimal method that will produce the most/best finished product. There have been some pretty significant technological advances in plant nutrition and artificial lighting over the past 30 years that allow for more productive indoor grows than what you have described.

Marijuana is a tolerant plant that can grow in many conditions...but if you can provide it with the things it really needs to grow big and healthy (like organic nutrients and a powerful HID light) why wouldn't you?

Regardless, I will be interested to see your method in action. I'm not trying to hate on your grow or anything, just making some observations. I want to see 5 ounces of dried bud come from cheap shop lights, tap water and dirt from outside!:peace:

It's not often I actually laugh out loud, but that one brought about a chuckle! LOL!

Like I said, I'm not doubting you or your methods. I really do want to follow along with your grow! So yeah, make a journal of it and share the experience :mrgreen:!

There could be many reasons, like low budget, high electricity bills.....
You talk about things plant needs, plant need light..Thats it...(If u chase your optimal conditions, then just grow under the sun, which is the best way!!!)

Dimension, i realize you're enthusiastic and die-hard caveman grow tech...but i honestly have to say that you will not be able to get 5 oz of bud from the technique you describe...you will not be able to unlock the true genetic potential of good quality genetic seeds like the ice that you have on the way...its a waste of money spent on growing a good strain under obsolete growing conditions...
I'm not trying to be a dick...but come on...there's a reason that growing has evolved----->to make better weed thru better growing techniques...there's a reason that there are so many nutes/growing accessories out on the market today...

Stop talking shit you will see the facts. THE METHOD I USE IS BETTER! IT HAS BETTER TASTING AND MORE OF A YIELD IT ALSO DOESNT COST MUCH THE REASON THOSE ARE OUT THERE IS BECAUSE THEY DO WORK BUT THERE ALSO SAYING ITS THE ONLY WAY WHICH IS A LIE HOW DO YOU TURN THESE ANNOYING FILTER KEYS OFF BTW

I'm in luck! My seeds just arrived and there being germed at this moment! Within a day or two the grow off will begin. Shoul I start a new thread or just keep it on this one?*

i grew 4 blue dream plants my first grow with this method.....but i used 1 gallon pots and decent soil.....small yield...but the tri production was through the roof

I figured it would take 2 weeks. I ordered from this company about a week ago and figured it would be 3 weeks.

I think I will!I wish you would make a believer out of all the non believers.5 oz from T8's would be killer to see.Can't wait for this one to unfold!!!
