Give it 3-4 days to hit the bottom of the cup and it will probably take off. My clones sometimes droop too when first taking root in the hempys.

Are you watering down the stem daily? You should until it hits the res in the bottom.

lol . I don;t even grow this way but I might switch to it from SOG when I get my MMJ

Ok, it has been like two days but, i read Bonemans thread last night and he said it took like a week for the roots to hit the bottom. Maybe i need to practice better patience...LOL!!!!!

Well, i was watering the whole cup, untill i read last night about only watering the area around the stem. I guess that helps it from being over watered?
Thats what it looks like happened.
I know, i wanna try this and maybe do a hempy SOG grow in 42 OZ fountain drink cups. That should be sweet!!!LOL

I use one of those snap blade knives and put the blade out 1 click. It's just long enough to go through a styrofoam cup.

Well just wanted to give you all a few pics and some high praise to hempy buckets

First pic is the mangled clones of some backyard sativaish thing...
They really grew healthy..

Second is NL and all are 18days into flowering at this point, and im just loving hempies..

Damn...that was a long 137 pages...took me ab 1.5 days to finish the whole thing. Anyways I have just started some Lsd and PPP seedlings in hempy and can't wait to see what happens. I'll throw some pics later once i get a little more progress. Also I thought people might be interested to know walmart has some great little green pots (they were mentioned somewhere i read about 7 hours ago) that I had before reading this thread. I now realize since they have bottoms that make them flood and a drain point almost 2" up they are perfect for hempy. I read some concerns ab their drain holes being clogged but I just broke out the bottom of the real pot a little to make it impossible to clog. I can't wait till that tap hits the rez

Hey, I started a hempy bucket setup for my first grow. Check it out and lemme know what you think. I'm really pleased with the method as far as ease and growth goes. Any tips are greatly appreciated. more pics in journal and to come

got some great growth going now that the tap hit the res.
with the PPP and tomatoes, they love the hempy, and i love them for loving hempy!!LOL!!!

Just had to chime in and show a picture of one my little clones that i started flowering immediately in a 16oz cup.

And one more of some that are vegging right now. They are going to get moved to a bigger containers when some of my space issues get solved.

Saves alot of space using 16 oz cups, and money too!
Learned that the SOLO brand plastic cups are much more durable for cutting the drainage hole in the side. the classic red cups are thin and tear easy, making big cracks down the cup.

Thanks. That one is a white widow x hindu kush and then I have some Abusive OG Kush that also is a bonsai.

ahhh the abusive good so cal cut! it can take alot of nutes and loves the calmag
