This whole time ive been wanting to do just clones..... since the genetics are pretty good around town....much better than what ive seen from the banks....
But i love growing from seed...

I would just veg it a couple of weeks under a 400 .... and topping i think wouldnt be a problem.....
Im not sure im an expert on topping....
Wish i could help more...
but topping a clone is no different than topping a plant from seed .... i think...

Sour d a club favorite....
Its a generic pale green bud...
Sativa dominant....
The taste is exactly what you would expect ..... Sour and cool overtones with a fuelly...chemical after taste.....almost bitter finish....
As for the high.... kinda of narcotic ....
real uppy .... not very strong nor any couch lock....
Not very good for medicinal purposes..... but great for on the go or at work...

The smoke is very smooth , not very kushy at all or skunky in essence....not good for high tolerance kush lovers like me...
But none the less a great flavored bud....

Here's my 2 Bob:
If you get a clone with a good root system, I am more for potting the clone and either LST or Super cropping it. Various reasons:
1/ Growth is not stopped by topping
2/ Growth is actually increased by training the plant, i.e if you bend it over practically in 2, you are gonna get the fattest nuckles which will pump those nutrient goodies through your plant at a quicker rate. A super cropped clone will right itself within a few hours - here's proof - a mini timelapse video I made (only using 5 stills, but hey ho - gives the general idea):

3/ By simply LST'ing or Super Cropping, every node on your clone is turned instantly into a cola.

I will let you into a little urban story around my way. About a year and a half, or possibly even 2 years ago, you could buy LA Con in the Dam from my fave coffeeshop the Grey Area (which you can again now). The LA was the bomb, very tasty indeed. However, since the laws of NL are quite strict (especially now for breeders) my understanding was that they lost the original Mom (in a bust or something along those lines) The LA hasn't been great since then, and only now has it returned to be slightly like it's former self, so perhaps you got a dud from DNA. I found an un-matured LA seed in one of my buds that I bought the other day as well, which was surprising. From what I see, peeps having a lot of probs with the LA Con....

What sort of price do they charge you for a gram of that?

This is kinda how it works out in socal.....
For the most part there is so much competition that you can go to the city and get the best stuff....og's included for under 45 dollars an 1/8 and 15 a gram......
Most places however have a 50 cap on the premo strains...... But there are a few places that still charge 60 an 1/8 whicjh i think is ridiculous..... for instance the apothecary.... but sometimes paying 75 an 1/8 can be worth it ....
but in my side of california.... we have several clubs, but only about two great shops less than a mile from my lab...
Which only will charge 50 dollars for the best and i got that diesel for 45....

and also purple urkel*white widow m/f f-2.

basically i crossed pre 98 bubba kush to larry og both clones by using ionized silver. purple urkel was crossed to a white widow male chosen out of a number of ww plants for desirable growth patterns. a number of both of these hybrids were grown out and the best male of the urkel/widows was crossed to the most vigorous of the larry og/pre 98 bubba kush fems creating 4 way hybrids which are f-1 in growth pattern and show hybrid vigor. progressive options has a more detailed write up i did on all four strains currently offered. im currently working on some other offerings i think people will enjoy. anyone who has questions post here or pm me

Hi, just noticed this journal. Some nice looking ganj u got going. I have a Kandy Kush that's about 3 wks. into flowering. I topped her at the 4th node and now I have 4 tops that are out of control. This is gonna be a very nice plant, can't wait...lol.

So i chopped the head off the strawberry ....... it still looks like it has white hairs ( new growth).......
No hay smell at all tho...
And the smell is really fragrent.....

The kings kush is looking ready also...
It seemms like it has more frost than hairs...... it is so dam frosty .... with very few brown to milky white hairs .....

Most of the stems cannot support the weight of the growth.....
