The Grinch lives in Canada

Saw this and thought now this guy is a true loser.

A real-life Grinch was arrested after he spoiled the holiday cheer at a parade, telling children that Santa isn't real.
The unidentified 24-year-old man, who had his hair gelled to look as though devil horns were protruding from his head, was arrested by police in the Canadian town of Kingston last week during the annual Santa Claus parade, authorities said in statement.
The St. Nicholas naysayer faces criminal charges of causing a disturbance by being drunk and breach of probation.
"It was pretty despicable that someone, during this time of the year, would tell kids Santa isn't real - which of course we would argue," Const. Steve Koopman told the Toronto Star.
It was not known how the man, who has surely landed on Santa's naughty list, pleaded to the charges.

Bah Humbug. The horned guy was wrong for doing that. I don't interfere with the holiday spirit of others, its just that my holiday cheer has been absent for several decades.

Personally doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm a Grinch from England. don't intentionally bring them up believing in bullshit if you can't deal with them being told otherwise.

At the same time, deliberately spoiling the fun of others is just plain bad. That's the message to me. cn

i agree with ttt.. i'll never understand why parents lie to their children about such non sensical things like santa and the easter bunny and the biggest lie of all, god.. :D

it is a bit dick to ruin it for kids but they do find out sooner or later imo.. and why, because it's an effin lie, that's why.. :D

Well to me, spoiling the fun of others would be if it was their own fun, say something they imagine, not something we indoctrinate them into something they think is fun. To me telling someone Santa is real is no different to me to telling a kid Jesus doesn't exist. Don't fill their heads with bollocks and there's no fun to ruin :-)

When I was a youngster, I knew Santa and the Easter bunny were not real. However as a kid i also understood the fun of playing Pretend, and placed Santa et al. in that category ... benign fun, adults playing Pretend with us. I never got overly serious about the whole thing, and see trying to be educational in this instance as doing more harm than good. Jmo. cn

My 2 1/2 year old now knows Santa is not real, but tells Mommy and I to 'shh' because her younger brother does not know yet!

kids are much smarter than some adults give them credit for!

Wait until you have babies of your own you will think differently, when you see their faces when they see Father Christmas, and they think he's going to bring them presents and he lives at the North Pole with his reindeer, it's truly amazing to see you must have had Father Christmas visit you when you were a kid I certainly did :-?

I am not a Christian and as such Christmas means nothing to me but time with my family. I would not teach my kids about buying presents because they feel they have to or Santa or whatnot, or because of peer pressure dictates so. Did you not read, I'm a Grinch. I will happily tell my kids the truth about Christmas. They only know of this north pole and Santa stuff because we teach them lies when they are too young to know otherwise.

Lmao, I knew it was some drunk before I read that part. Should've recorded it and put it on Youtube, I'm sorry but it's still funny lol. Although I could see myself if I was the father of one of those kids, would he mad enough to resort to violence, so easy but hard to laugh at this lol.

I'm about to have a kid and you won't catch me telling my kid some bs story about Santa. The first time it comes up, "santa is something stupid people teach their kids to believe in".

We are taught to reach kids that Santa exists, and then for our kids happiness, and to then keepo them haooy, we have to buy shit to make them think that Santa came. Who would have thought. Imagine a world where we didn't teach our kids about Santa clause and as such didn't have to buy pointless crap for them. You bunch of suckers.
