All 3 available at Evergreen Garden Supply in Portland - call ahead to be sure.

I am running a test of the Super Soil with the Base Soil. I haven't tried the Charge Pack.

Looking dope so far nearing the end of my veg cycle.

Hmm... am I missing something here? Is this not just a premixed super soil with some fancy marketing labels etc... must be for the person who can't or is too lazy to read a recipe and mix in soil supplements?
Is there something about this product I can't achieve by simply using the super soil recipe? Last I heard Roots Organic was the base for creating SS, has that changed?

I think lazy is a bit of a stretch! (I used the charge pack:))

But anyway, you are correct. The charge pack is all of the amendments necessary to create super soil minus the worm castings and base soil of your choosing. I believe most folks, including myself, use Roots.

There is a ton of information and I have nothing to do with SS. People have used the charge packs with all different kinds of base.

I suggest you read around the forums regarding the sub's recipe. He himself has tried different bases in the past, he has a TON of written material.

Charge packs have multiple uses... not just being lazy :)

This is just a FYI- What I just posted was retail locations and a mail order link. I can't answer any other questions since I do not really know much about it.

I'm hungry. Later!

$100 isn't actually a bad price if it does in fact amend 15 cf of soil. That's a lot of soil. By the time you source all of the materials and mix the appropriate portions this might just be a convenient and relatively affordable alternative.

I would have to imagine that is one big-ass bag to have shipped though. How much do one of these packages weigh?

Shipping is included in the price.

ALSO--> their are no leftover amendments sitting in your shed for years like I have. No half empty bags...

No offense sub, but didn't you state that bugs in FF organic base soil had too many bugs thus the change to Roots?
I haven't seen any in the Roots bags in mine personally. What kind of bugs are we talking about? What am I need to watch out for?

Say I know your a busy guy and all I can appreciate that myself, still patiently waiting for you to take me up on my humble request for your personal opinion on my passive hydro system. In which my Blue Cheese Lady is sitting in a 3 gallon cloth pot, half SS half black gold organic soil resting on top the passive hydro water reservoir. I wanted to see how long SS could sustain the entire growth. From seed to about 12 weeks she reached 4 ft. So I went long in veg 16 weeks and had to top her to restrain her in her grow tent. Now now in 5 week of a 9 week flower cycle so we are about to see what kind of results are possible in a relatively small (3 gallon) container of super soil (of which is only half the other black gold). The roots have long since grown through the bottom of the cloth container with soil, which has allowed the bottom 2/3 of the root system to hydrate at it's own pace.

Anywise thought you would be interested in how little soil is need to achieve the results so far. So I think of my cloth pot resting on water as a Super Charge pack in itself for I believe the results show you don't need a ton of soil just the right kind to have great results.

Anywise if your curious the link in my signature will take you to the grow journal discussion forum for you to comment.

And buy the way next time your up in Washington let me know, drinks on the house, can't express my gratitude enough for the work you have done.:bigjoint:
