The Great Post-Herm Apocalypse Grow from the Ghetto

Due to a number of unanticipated problems, we lost two of our three plants to herming. Problems ranged from bacterial slime in the satdom to nutrient uptake problems due to pH. Of the three, only delahaze survived and harvest was pretty measely.

I cracked some seeds, and we acquired a tired old hippie headband mother or we would have had nothing at all in the veg tent. I let her chill in veg for a week, as she was malnourished, unwatered and unloved. Gradually the yellow went to dark green and preflowers started to form. These are some afghan goo, blue dream haze, cheese, and more cheese. I like cheese.

Took the down time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bloom tent. After hippie recovered, she went in. Seedlings did well, we cloned them about two weeks after hippie went into bloom. Then the parents joined her. Now, that pot with two are both goo. I moved one to a separate pot a little later. We cloned from all of these before moving them into bloom. They're about 3 weeks behind hippie headband in there.

The interesting thing about those two goos, one is sativa dominant and the other very indica. The bdh started getting nitrogen claw on upper leaves. I thought it was stressed and panicked, yanked it. Shouldn't have. I finally found the problem solution online. We've gotten a pH measuring device, so we're not having uptake problems. I'm not watering the sativas as much, and aerate the roots weekly with a screwdriver. I've had probs with sativas developing tight roots near the base, so that water pools up instead of soaking straight through. That's a good environment for anaerobic bacteria growth. The sat doms seem to like it. I decided to chop down the BDH I had outside, needed the pot and it had hermed, so I made canna milk. That's another story.

Now we have one satdom goo that is five feet tall and two indica doms. And the hippie clone. She is about ready, I'm flushing for ten days and then, choppy choppy! I pulled her out of the tent last night because I spilled the drain pan that filled from the flush and had to mop up. Have a look. Isn't she beautiful?
