The great debate!!!

so many things have been talked in circles as far as growing the good plant goes!
I have recently been contemplating scenarios in my head to increase yield through technique or equipment and i kept finding myself right where i started, after years of studying this subject I find no clear answers and really thats because their arent any. so ive got this idea to try this differently, im going to list questions and scenarios in a simple yes no form and id like you all to answer the questions by reading it and immediately thinking yes or no to yourself. please do not then think about the question after and change your answer, the first thing that comes to mind go with! when the questions say do you know i mean in your own mind not can you prove it so again what comes to mind first and skip it if you cannot answer, Also please do not read the rest of the responses before taking the...idk poll i guess..simply quote the questions, delete this paragraph, and add a y or n next to each, try not to read them while doing this lol any explanation can be written underneath and please limit the responses that dont include the poll i dont want to sidetrack

lol thanks to the people who answer this...nope not missing anything it is geared toward soil because these are only inquisitive questions to help determine equipment upgrades and technique changes for me personally, im not trying to include everything just the few things i think might help my yield or ease of set up..so the questions all pertain to something im thinking about changing!

would like to add a couple questions

have you used a grow tent -

did you prefer it -

was heat an issue -

was it winter or summer when heat was an issue -

used co2 -

noticed significant yield increase -

i am thinking of running 1000w double ended buld with seperate chambered hood for inline cooling in a 4'9" by 4'9" tent through cold months only..i can go without the tent but then im worried about cold nights instead of hot days and i also want to control smell. was only planning on going ~ light open on one end > ducting > fan > filter > up through the vent on the roof with passive intake instead of a seperate fan for the filter and a fan straight through the light from out of the tent to out of the other side of tent..also will be venting into the same room but is a large basement, most likely will run 8 plants in it at a time with roots organic soil and nutes, fabric pots, added beneficials, and will top a couple and mainline a couple but leave the rest for my normal lst ...anybody forsee issues?? have a better idea? thanks again!
