So I'm sure many of you have seen this thing and or read about it or whatever.
Gravity Vortex is the future of counter culture smoking. Waterfall gravity hits portable and smooth like a vaporizer
Anyways. I owed a buddy of mine a favor and let him hold onto my dual perc PHX. I asked him if I could borrow his Vortex and try it out for a little bit.
Being that my PHX was just a little over 250$ and that my ashcatcher was the same. Spending money on quality glass was never a concern to me. If I am going to smoke why not smoke the best way(s). Obviously resulting in my skepticism with the $30-$35 Vortex.
My official review is that this thing is pretty sick for 35 bucks. I'm very impressed to say the least. It hits night. Pulls the hit well. And works time and time again. Not to mention for some reason it gets you so sketchly high.
The main downfalls I see with this thing are...
-kinda spills water a lot. Resulting in room smelling like bong water
-wistles a little when you hit it which gets really annoying
-turning it over and letting the water drain back gets really old after the 2nd time. Or 1000th
Another side note... With good glass aka, PHX ROOR ETc. you get a kind of "Massaging" of the lungs afect from the quad chamber, dual perc action. This does not happen at all with the vortex and has my lungs feeling kind of sad
All in all I think if you are looking for something to use that works very well. Grab the Gravity vortex. It costs just as much as most shitty bowls, and you will like it a whoooolllleee lot better.
