The GHS White Grow

Day 21:
These girls are three weeks from seed today. Growth has been good, I was able to top them all yesterday, as well as giving them their first dose of vegging nutes. The leaves are huge - to get an idea of size, the plastic trays under the plants, are 12" across. First three pics are the Rhinos, next two are Widows, and finally, LA Woman and Sour Cream. No complaints!;-)

Whats going on here doe?
Me. lol Well I got a little lax, had too many weeks with both my current grows without problems I guess, and wasn't paying quite as much attention as I should. So. The PH got too high, lights were too low, and temps got a bit too cold - all of which caused some damage. Oh and apparently, these ladies require more nutes than anything else I've grown yet.

I gave 'em a flush 'n feed this past Monday, moved the lights up, and turned on the electric heater. They are doing much better - but still show damage. I was hoping to get them a bit healthier before posting new pics. But oh well - done is done. I'll get pics when they wake up this evening. A lesson learned - it takes less time and work to pay closer attention to your plants, than it does to deal with the after effects of neglect.:peace:

Sounds good. I hear ya. I definitely neglect my plants sometimes. I hate admitting it(or showing pics of it) Clones are the worst, all it takes is a few days, to kill them.
I definitely felt out my strains with my first run. I was going 1.5 times the reccomended strength on some strains, 2 times on others, and then the reccomeded amount for others. I basically tried to pump the plant as full as it could go, and recorded it. Good references for the next run. Starting to get into nutrients I will use for a long time.

Damage due to my own stupidity does kinda make me cringe. But that's ok, I'm not too proud to admit my fuckups. Yeah I thought I had the nutes down. My notes don't help much, because I am still experimenting with different strains, until I find one I'm happy with. At least the next three or four grows will be different strains, as well. Good experience, I guess.

Sorry, I've been trying for over an hour, it isn't letting me upload pics tonight. Keeps telling me "Upload Error". I'll try again in the morning.

Alright, here we go - extra pics for the delay. Just a tad over five weeks veg now. First six pics are the White Rhino, next four are my White Widow (check out the largest - that was my tiny runt), the LA Woman is next, and the Sour Cream. Last two are a "bug's eye" view, I guess. lol Try not to be too harsh - they looked much worse a week ago, guys.

Day 46:
Well dammit, I actually overwatered them yesterday. lol I'm having more trouble vegging these ladies, than I have any other grow. I'm excited to be starting new babies on Saturday, but I think I'm going back to six plants - it was working for me. lol
Anyways - aside from that, the yellowing has stopped progressing - so I'm thinking I solved that problem, at least. Only a week and a half left, before these girls go in to flower!

If they were in those jugs, I think that may have been the overwater(if you did what you "normally" do). Looks good otherwise. They are going to be some nice looking girls

Yeah I think you might be right wonderblunder, I was pretty tired when they got watered. Tell you one thing - the White Rhino are doing the worst of all of them. I don't know for sure why. Maybe too finicky a strain to fuck with in the future.

I hear ya about "finicky" strains. I am sticking with the ones that work for me and with suitable results of course! I do like a challenge of course, but hate when it doesn't turn out as planned(due to my extra effort). For now, I am tossing out all the strains that I am having major issues with. SOme shine through........ Some stay in the shadows.......

overwatering one time isn't going to doing any major damage.... let the pots dry out ALL the way and everything will be fine......

Alright, thanks Dragon. I think it'll be a minute, before they dry out. I checked them this evening and all the pots are still pretty moist almost through the surface.

On a side note - dropped the next grow in to soak tonight - all Lemon Skunk! Five GHS and one freebie from DNA, thought I'd grow them side by side (provided they pop) and see which was better.
