This is where I'm at after a few years of working hard. It was not easy. I do a very basic work out, its posted in an earlier reply. Nothing crazy, just lots of running to eat up the body fat. I say I'm at 8% body fat, shooting for less but I don't think that is possible without a crazy diet.

If you stay active enough you really don't need to diet unless you want healthier intake (which = more energy)..... I freaking hate running also but I still do it....I don't think about how much I hate it I just know it's something I have to do.....so I just throw on some motivating music and get to it......it's all in your head.....that's the biggest obstacle.....stay motivated and don't miss too many days in a row and you will see results before you know it......working out is not temporary it's a part of life......we were meant to stay active.......

400+ miles on the bike this month already....I've been riding so much since January 1st, I've packed on a lot of lower body muscle.

the diet to me is more for energy an just to have a better digestive flow. all this damn protein has be fartin all the time tho which isnt a good thing. lol i try an stay active i workout every day except the weekends which even then i still train on saturday. i usually do just suck it up an go run, but there are times i just dont want to esp since id rather run on a track an i dont have one close to my house. my right knee has been messed up since i was a kid an runnin on the road is bad for your knees. blahhhhhhh i just dunno what to do sometimes. i gotta treadmill, but that gets too borin.

id really like to take BA's route an hop on a bike. gettin one is on my to do list when i gets me a job.

Just recently began going back to the gym. I'm following the Starting Strength program by Mark Rippetoe and I'm happy with my progress thus far.

Starting weight 195lbs, 2 weeks in and I'm at 200, but I haven't really been able to go consistently. Missed a few days because of jury duty. Don't have a goal in mind as for bodyweight but I'd just like to tone myself up and get stronger.

Suuuuch bullshit..

I walked up to the track yesterday to do the usual routine, it's normally all locked up so I have to hop a fence and then shimmy myself through this hole in another part of the fence to get in, as I was doing it this guy started yelling at me from across the street "hey, you can't be jumping fences, you need a pass" so I yelled back "nah... it's OK dude, I'm just gonna run on the track, it's no big deal..." but he was adamant about it (why?), so I left, called city hall and asked them what was up. The lady told me I had to pay $25 for a pass to use the track, and I can only use it when the public pool is open (6am-8am & 4pm-6pm). Well, I'm not going to do that, so the next time I go up there I'm just gonna be like "oh yeah, I have a pass.." LOL!!

Shit like this drives me fucking nuts. Why the fuck should I have to pay $25 to run on a goddamn track? Why? Explain that to me. Motherfucking greedy fucks everywhere you look, everythings bad, oh unless you've got a little bit of money you can slide their way... even fucking drugs in this country are seen in the same light. You get caught with drugs and you get in a lot of trouble, but hey, if you've got enough money, you can buy your way out of the fines or penalties. Laws like these are designed to hurt the little guy. Well, fuck that.

I'm sorry but that makes absolutely no sense.....I would have to PAY to do something I could do everywhere else for FREE? Is this track made out of platinum dust or something?

Yeah no shit, it makes no fuckin' sense at all. They're just trying to get money. I've been running on the track all summer without a problem, this asshole didn't even look like he worked for the school, just some random guy. Fuck him.
