yeah... i've been growing for 10 years in my little neck of the wood, but i've never in my life seen anything like these guys do. It's a whole different world i've just never been a part of. FDD, I'd love to make the move to Cali right now, but personal issues keep me here for the time. Soon though... soon...Keep it up, you guys give me hope for the future.

Thanks for all the great pics SubCool! I was wondering what kind of mulch is being used? I have my fist ever outdoor grow going right now. I've grown indoor hydro for years but I'm making my way to Cali to be my own boss "Pit" stop here in Colorado and I really love the way outdoor Cannabis grows! Harvest is just around the corner and soon after I'll be laying on the beach!

He uses lots of natural compost and worm castings etc.
Thats ceder mulch to keep the dust down.

Picture a pit 8 foot deep and 35 x 40.
That is what these plants are growing in a giant tilled soft pit.
Prior to 1990 This was a horse coral for 30+ years

The garden is growing like mad and now we have true buds forming all over.
The Kushs are very far along and strains like Romulan have a long way to go still.
The lone Mem mix that I believe is JC2 is 14 feet tall now but we saw something really wierd on one side.
In the center of a leaf at the stem we saw 3 leaves with pistillate flowers and a lone male stamen in the leafs center?
I have never seen this before and I advised KA to kill the thing.
WE will document her next time if shes still around.
Ive seen the little buds form before there but never a single pod and never ever this early.
I can't say it dosnt bother me but when I ran 6 JC2 fems inside they all looked amazing and only one tossed anything strange and it was late.
All I can do is record and document this and keep everyone informed..

The rest of the garden looks incredible and smell even better..

next may, I'm puttin' out my mothers, and others from 18 gal. bins, into coffin beds, 4'deep. I'm gonna' reduce the indoor lighting beforehand incrementally, so as not to induce spring flower...so I'll have monster babies. my only real constraint is this pesky(l.o.l.) 100sq.' rule! I'll also need a 30' guard tower with searchlights and machine guns!
