I just have to say, wow, that was refreshing, not one error regarding the facts, and it did not reduce marihuana to just a drug. Good rare find.

Did you notice the prices they are charging?....a tad expensive I think. Will be worse in Washington State. High prices leaves the door open for black market.

I disagree that high prices in Canada, under the MMPR, will lead to the black market. I think the RCMP and all provincial police will be much more vigilant about illegal grows. Right now, they are so tired of busting a grow, only to find out it's legal that they have all but given up. After April 1, all grows except LP's will be illegal. I expect that the LP's will, as a group, pressure the provinces and police to pursue any illegal grow as it undermines the entire MMPR program. Conversely, low prices will lead to diversion to illegal use and minors, a problem that Health Canada has been very clear is their chief concern.

Keep in mind there was a black market before the MMAR.
New black market will be more stealth for sure. I agree, the police will be ready for Apr 1.
