This makes the magic happen! :D
A rotary vacuum pump?
That sounds VERY simple.
And I like those results:)

A rotisary/rotary engine.
Run to something like a "Train wheel" So the rotary can go round and round, while
A pump gets pumped, up and down by the new direction of the rotary force due to the "Train wheel" effect.

And that pump pumps the air out of the mason jar to vacuum seal right?
So, the pump just needs to work similar to a water removal pump....

:)
I want to try to make one of those :)
I don't have the money now, but when I start blowin glass :)

I bet it'll only cost like 1-$200 to make, maybe even half that :)

The vacuum draws all the residual butane from your extract. You can get a hand pump vacuum purge device for $150 here...

Knock yerself out, ace.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. [/sarcasm]
Lol. I already told you.

It's be as simple as buying a rotisserie motor, a pump like a bike pump, that pulls air, and releases it elsewhere. Then a piece in the middle to make them work together. A stripped wall plug, a wire cap, maybe some wire for the motor to connect, a hose, a mason jar, and done. :)

Food Saver vacuum sealers have mason jar attachments. It shouldn't cost more than $50 to get a good vacuum on a jar.

This is not about vacuum sealing mason jars. This is about maintaining a constant -29 vacuum to purge butane, not sealing jams or jellies.

Jesus Christ, when will you children listen to older more experienced people who are trying to educate your dumb asses!!!

Whatever. It'll purge. If I get it to -29, THEN seal. Or just shut it off if it can stay sealed, and voila :)

Just add a gauge :)

You'll never get a food saver to -29 and maintain it for 30 minutes.
He just suggested a food saver, I never said I was going to use that.
Do you understand the difference between a rotary vacuum pump and a rotisserie motor/bike pump? I don't think you do.
Yes I understand the difference.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying.

I need a reverse bike-ISH pump(Vacuum). Not a "Bike pump". And the rotisserie motor to run it, and that's that.
