Mercedes Benz sells 2.4 million cars per year.

It doesn't rely on the C class at all. Tesla on the other hand sells the model 3 at a loss.

To date, Tesla has never made any money at all on the model 3 sedan.

starting a company isn't cheap. Tesla is expanding product lines and production facilities, that's where the money goes.
and it goes on and on and on.......

With conditions, of course. A firmware update – rolling out this weekend – for European Model 3s with the Long Range battery option will allow them to charge at 200kW when hooked up to specific ‘ultrafast’ chargers.

In balder terms, 200kW equates to 850 miles for each hour of charging. Given the Long Range version quotes at 329 miles on a full battery, that means a complete charge in just over 20 minutes. About the time it’ll take you to have a wee and order a chai latte at most service stations.

All of that for a LOSS of 9 billion dollars!!!

The pickup will not be built anytime soon. It'll be like the new SUV that was a big yawner: hyped up, recieved with little if any enthusiasm and then not built for another year or two.

It still isn't.

It was supposed to be completed in May and production started by June according to all your bullshit posts.

They have at present a large empty structure. That's it.

They're now 'hoping' to have it complete by end of year and production started next year.

It's just one more delay of a delay of a delay...as are all things Tesla.

You can't see the red line representing Tesla sales, in the chart I posted? the red line going up up up?....that doesn't look like a decline in sales to me......Tesla sales have not declined. Please quit drinking and posting

Sales fell 31% in the first quarter. It's a large part of why the stock tanked and Tesla lost ANOTHER 3/4 of a billion dollars.
