The Democratic Party Autopsy Report

What did Hillary offer me besides more war? She supported the TPP and campaigned on the idea that Neo-Liberal politics are working. I need healthcare, affordable school, and a living wage. She didn't support any of those things. Trump promised people he would bring their jobs back, improve their healthcare, and make America great again. He lied and I knew he lied but I'd rather hear a lie than feel like I am being ignored and taken for granted. The Democrats barely won in Alabama, it wasn't some huge victory. They barely won to a known pedophile who pulled crazy stunts. Its like the Super Bowl champs beating the local high school football team and only winning by a last minute field goal. We should expect more out of them.

The majority of the USA is more concerned about economic issues rather than Russia. They want to hear about wage increases, bringing good jobs such as manufacturing back, healthcare, and affordable education. The new GOP tax plan is going to be terrible for the majority of us in the USA. The Democrats should be on TV every chance they get screaming at the top of their lungs about it but instead they are not. Net Neutrality was another issue that should have gotten more play from the Democrats. I understand that many do not support the FCCs actions but they need to start screaming about it.

The Democrats did not get my vote and most likely will not in 2018. They need to start addressing things that directly impact my life and those of the majority of the USA. Things like jobs and healthcare. I am without insurance and can't afford the Obamacare tax because I don't make a lot of money. I am also so far behind on my student loans that I honestly believe I will never be able to pay them off. There are not many jobs that are paying a living wage and the cost of housing is insane everywhere in this country. People are really suffering out there and the party of the working people is more concerned with the donors then their voters. That is going to cost them.

Why not press for a living wage, national healthcare, and a green new deal to bring jobs to the United States? The DNC didn't support these so I didn't vote for the Democrats. Nor did I vote Republican.
you sound like an irresponsible and whiny little bitch.

good job helping to get trump elected, trumptard.

Ugh, so much wrong with this post... But let's take small steps.

Hillary did not "support healthcare"? Do tell. Funny how you whine about the "obamacare tax" but don't mention the cost you could have gotten insured for through the ACA. If you don't make a lot of money, your healthcare would have been subsidized (you're welcome) and been quite reasonable.

Please tell me about your exhaustive experience with the ACA. Were you disqualified by pre-existing conditions? Could you not afford the premiums because they were less money than the "tax" you were whining about? What has Trump done for your healthcare prospects? Please tell me, I am fascinated.

Sounds to me like something is amiss with your entire post or "shudder" your thought process.

What is really at the heart of your wanting to be lied to?

So you are still uninsured, and you will probably remain that way. And your job will be taken by a robot manufactured overseas. Nice job.

Democrats have not been vocal about the tax cut or net nuetrality? Hogwash. Maybe you need to read some actual news. Did you even watch the video?!

Welcome new member. Welcome indeed.

Your the biggest asshole on this forum. By far. Why are you such a complete waste of air? You dick.
Brilliant analysis.

Tell us more about how Bernie spending the same amount as Hillary did means there wasn't a level playing field in the Democratic Primary.

you're fucking stupid.

So what percentage of African American voters voted for Clinton in 2016 compared to Obama in 2008 or 2012?

That's what that quote refers to. You chose to post the Doug Jones v. peadophile votes to disengenously try to boost your position. Black people didn't go out to vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016 because they know she doesn't do much for them. This is one of the key reasons she lost the election.

I just said the exact same thing you posted. The African American voter turnout declined sharply in 2016..

Thanks for proving my own point with a source. Dumbass.

Gee, I wonder why black people didn't support Hillary Clinton to the tune they did Obama..

gee, i wonder why hillary clinton came in second place for highest black voter turnout behind the first black president.

oh well, i guess that mystery will remain unsolved.

or we could assume that identity politics is what propelled obama to two landslide victories thanks to record shattering black voter turnout. but that mnight hurt your feelings, so let's not assume that.

It's all in the platform. The Democratic party is not Hillary Clinton, but she isn't what is wrong with the Democratic party. Even our "elite/establishment" Democrats believe in climate change, wealth inequality, racial inequality, relieving poverty, etc. When you look at how red states have stripped their economies of safety nets, you know Democrats are the only ones facing the economic situation we face, and they are the only ones standing between us and the wolves.

Why did Hillary Clinton lose 7% of black voters compared to Obama? That's almost a million extra votes she lost while competing against a guy who is collectively accepted as racist

That's absurd

I disagree

You're arguing a position based on a false dichotomy because we're under the control of a two party system. The two party system is not set in stone, it's simply a consequence of the way it works in practice. There are much better systems of political control throughout the world, first past the post being my favored political system.

Well I guess blacks wanted Bernie even less. Hell some people who cheered for Bernie did not even vote for him...and never has EVER

are you honestly asking why clinton did not get the same black voter turnout as our first black president?

you're a dim bulb
Well why didn't she? Are you claiming black voters voted for Obama simply because he's black?

Because you claimed conservatives were racist for making the exact same claim in 2008 and 2012

Obama's message and demeanor are nothing short of inspirational. I actually trust humanity a little less because of the fact that for 8 years millions of Americans wouldn't listen to a word the president said, in the most indoctrinated and contemptuous way. I attribute in part the extreme reaction to Trump on the way Obama was treated by the right.

i'm sure plenty of black voters were more excited to vote for the first black president and that played a role. other black voters voted for him because he is a democrat. other black voters had other reasons to vote for him.

this is because black voters do not have a herd-like mentality.
