Penny Week8 Day1.Just Look At How Phat And Sexy My Little Hoe Is Getting.Everytime I Go Into My Garden I Swear She Looks Twice As Phat As She Looked 24 Hours Before. What I Find Odd About Her Is The Lack Of Smell At This Stage Of Growth. My Other Grows At This Stage Would Stink Up My House If I Left The Tent Open For Any Length Of Time. Not Penny I Can Barely Smell Her Out Side Of My Grow Room.Speaking Of Smell She Does Have A Sweet Fermented Berry Smell. Now Lets Talk Trichomes,SnowStorm Ultra And Leds. This Is My First Led Grow Without Using SSU And Her Trichs And Resin Production Especially Resin Production Is Now Responding Like I Like To See My Buds All Sticky And Chit.My PE(Sally) Had Trichs Running Out Her Azz But Her Buds Were Dry And Wasnt Sticky At All.My GigaBud(MaryAnn) Didnt Have as Many Trichs As Sally And They Were All Brittle With Alittle Stickyness. Now Penny Trichs Are Not As Abundent As My Other 2 Led Grows But Her Stickyness Is What Im Used Too.I Can Touch A Leaf And It Will Stick To My Finger And Unless I Flick It Off.My Next Led Grow I Plan On Running 2 Plants 1 With And 1 Without SSU And Compare.Pennys Current Vitals Are.Ppm 841 pH 5.66 Res Temp 74 Tent Temp 81 Rh 41%

It will be interesting to see how you do with the root prune, I read alittle on it as it is contrary to the belief that the larger the root mass the better the plant. Us soil growers use the same technique of root pruniing when we use the Smart Pots or any form of fabric container.

Yep My Brother The DirtFarmers That Use Airpots Is What Gave Me The Idea That If My Roots Get Out Of Control Just Prune Them. Also My Belife is when We Take Off The Older Root Growth It Allows The Younger Roots To Grow Fast And Healthy.:weed:

^^^I like that thinking Dawg but I was wondering some things after reading your statement. If you're trimming fan leafs then the plant doesn't need to grow it's roots back since there's less mass for the roots to support, right? Or will it grow the roots back to maintain flowering? I think it will conserve energy and not grow them back, but might under certain circumstances.

Directions, we don't need no stinking directions...Pruning roots is not unheard of, it should be done with care and caution as you can hurt the plant but realisticly your doing below what you can do on top.

My experience is roots continue to grow till the very end at chop chop time, however it's perhaps best to give any chopping "time relief" from a new cycle in its life.

Gota couple slow starters but in all they look great. That should be a lite enough feeding to get them up and goin, though I might have gone with 20/4 for the rest of the grow as these are "Auto's" right?
