He asked, where are all the good girls?
Your answer, " were all taken" , regardless of grammar, is perfect. Without the apostrophe, your answer reads as, " the good girls were all taken" which is obviously worst case scenario for our friend ttystikk. WITH the proper punctuation, your answer reads as, " the good girls, we're all taken" which is still worst case scenario.
I wasn't trying to point out your grammatical error, if there was one, at all. It was more like I was bringing attention to the grammar game in my head, and you made the perfect move.
Sorry if it seemed like I was nitpicking your grammar. I was actually tipping the proverbial hat at your grammatical genius. It was a statement that, with or without the proper grammar, said essentially the same thing, and I viewed it as an extraordinary play on words.
That's why i said, " too perfect to not be intentional" because your statement works with and without the grammar...
