so i found this out, and ive tested this, an old hippy lady told me that if u ever get buds that are way dry you just simply put a slice of carrot in the container. works GREAT! ive use a slice of apple, an orange peal, and the carrot so far, they all seem to work pretty well. SMOKE ON!:bigjoint:

Thanks for the info, next time I have this problem I'll try it out. I've used a small slice of lemon before, but it made the bud taste a bit off.

you don't want to have the fruit touch the herb, it can lead to mold issues if your not careful, and it is the peels of the lemon or orange you want to use, as the peels dehydrate, it hydrates the herb and it also flavors the herb too. there is another thing you can use that is MUCH better and you will not have to worry about molds or over hydration, they are hydro packs or disks some smoke shops carry them. I use a 2 way hydro pack but you have to buy them in bulk from what I saw, I'll find the web site.

i like using apple slices it brings moisture back really quick and i never have moldy buds just some nugs that had a lil bit too much moister and they burned hella slow...but anyways i love addin a apple slice to my nugs for a few hrs...the more nug i have the bigger the piece of apple

Since adding fruit or veggies will effect the smell of your herb I'd recommend just using a small piece of paper towel soaked in water and hanging off the edge of a curing container. Should remoisurize your buds in a few hours (if a small amount).

Just don't let the paper towel rest on the buds.

well with my experience an apple slice never gave my nug a weird taste or smell just made the nug more sticky and spongy

Lettuce works well too cuz it doesn't have a smell or a taste really just shake it around and pull it out a couple hours later

i always used a little potatoe peeling or tattie peeling as i call it and used it for when my tobacco was too dry, personally if the buds are dry they burn better in my parachute thingy lol

A quick squirt of H20 from a spray-bottle on the inside walls of your jar will have enough moisture, and not enough for mold.

They are pretty cheap and work fantastic I recommend 69-72% I think 75+ leaves my herb too moist. These things also ABSORB moisture so if you have your herb too moist it will take that moisture out of the herb and they last several months, if you use large mason jars the big packs are the way to go they work for up to 4 oz's, but if you use the smaller jars then the big pouches are are too big and you need to get the small packets they are the size of those 'wet napkin' packages and each small pack is good for about a 1/4 oz.
