These China lights seem to be more efficient and give off more light than an HPS while using half the energy. If they differ from HLG quantum boards I'll probably never know. I haven't seen one example of quantum board from China being bad. I'd go with the boards over the COBs

So... promised an update, although it might not be worthy of this thread.

Something didn't feel right putting a hlg550 clone, albeit a cheap one in a 3x3 tent, so I pulled the trigger on one of these..

Will be interesting to compare results with the fotop 2x4 grow, as the area and wattage pull will be somewhat similar.

Hi guys, back with a few more questions.

Planning on getting two more 560 boards so I can run them soft in a 2x2 config. Four boards, two 240 drivers.

Should I get two more in 3000k or consider mixing it up with 3500 or 4000k? Looking to avoid too much inter-nodal spacing and stretching during veg.

How's your experience vegging with 3000k? If not ideal, what kelvin would you recommend for veg. I still have the one blurple I could use with the current 3000k boards during veg, thoughts?

BTW, on day 57 since first pistils, 60 since flip. Excited...

Off-topic - What's the max you guys keep your temps at during late flower? I mean with the QBs. Please be specific, ambient (canopy) or LST?

Yes I got two of the Disco Boards.
I'm very pleased with them, they grow great plants. I've flowered a few times with them at least. 75 watts per board at moment .

The diodes aren't top of the range but they do the job.
I like to run them soft to bump the efficiency up a bit and I fill the room with as many diodes I can fit in there, all running soft.
There's no escape from the light! Lol

Yes that’s what I meant(lm561c)was rushing lol. I need to measure the sides I think the Rita board is slightly wider. A little longer wait then when I dealt with her but she wanted 70something he charged me 50something

Here is the latest plant flowered with a Disco Board .
RQS Royal Gorrilla 65 days of 12 on 12 off. There's another Gorrilla under another Disco Board that's already stripped of leaves.
Taking all the fan leaves off and going back under the lights until Tuesday ....ish
Rain came on so I brought it inside until it passed if you are wondering about the water drops.



So judge for yourselves as to whether the Disco Boards do the job.
