The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

@TreeWalker what size of an area are you looking to cover?
50% of a 5x5 tent (actually 4x4 but I have 5x5 in the middle...long story haha) I have another COB set up which draws 260w performing quite well or a 400w HPS & MH which can share that space.
My goal is to light that space at 900-1200w HID equivalent. Dimming is desired to get to less light when needed. Height is a definite issue in tent w. slightly less than 6 feet. So the COB set up at 260w (which can run @ 130w if I want) + this Quantum board at 240w is 500w LED power draw. To me that puts me around 1000w HID equivalent by my estimate, yet with the ability to dim down if needed.

But if these quantum 288's work well I would eventually buy another and use the quantums only at 480watts total. Hopefully that all makes sense.

Just got 2 600 watt bars today.
Anyone interested let me know what info or pics you would like to see.

So these only draw 450 watts. Not completely ripped off but I do feel like they kind of got me. These were ecospeed lights.

I was thinking about trying there 10 bar fixture, if your 600watts fixture is 450watts at 6 bars. would that make 10 bars 750watts?
Do you have a lux meter to test if the mapping is the same as what they sent you ?

The kit has arrived! Took a minute to ship out, was waiting on stock, but holy DHL! Left China Sat AM and was at my door Monday!

Something sketchy about the stickers on their drivers. Why paste "LED DRIVER" over the MW logo? Cheap adhesive, too. I started peeling one of the S/N stickers off as well. Can anyone validate authenticity?

I dont know LED diodes very well but they sent a promise of authenticity lol its not signed

Instructions say wire in paralell. Anyone got photos of a 3 board parallel build with neat tidy wiring? Struggling trying to figure it out.

Please note he did not get the light from nalite, he got it from Weii, it is a different company. I ordered the 10 bar light, each bar is run at 80 watts and inside the driver box unit there are 10 drivers for each bar.

I’ve been thinking of getting a lux meter. Maybe I’ll order one soon and test the 6 bar. I’ve been debating about buying a meter for awhile now.

Oh it sounded as if you wanted to measure the PAR.
You high lol I only spoke of lux meter.
It would be cool to have a par meter tho but I can justify spending that much money on a damn meter. Lux meter tho is more reasonable. And like wing said you can get a general idea by converting.

I am thinking of starting a database of horticulture lighting products testing. I have been lurking on this forum for quite a while and I see alot of BS.
I own a pretty good test machine that will give me proper readings and reports of lights. I could also include in the database IES files so people could simulate a grow room on thier computer before purchasing anything using a free program called Dialux
My only issue is I would need people to send me lights to be tested.
Is this something that would interest others?

I am pretty sure legit Meanwell HLG-320H-48B drivers do not have any adjustment holes on them since the adjustment is handled via the wires.

Light setup

Pros :
Solid build quality , this thing is heavy and feels very well put together
Insanely bright
Nice control panel

Cons
You can feel a slight current in the frame, similar to the old MacBooks, unless it’s just mine that does that lol.
The percentage for the brightness is printed inreverse 50% is actually 100%
The hanging system isn’t bad with the exception of those shitty, what seems to be defacto hanging wires.
I suspect they’re not S6 diodes.

Otherwise the light is awesome.

Just a note, when I was in China at a lightning fair last year I saw alot of fluence knock off's, beware if the lights look too much like fluence as customs maybe able to seize a copy. Quality of them was terrible in comparison to an actual fluence light also
