Anyone have experience with these driverless boards?
C$ 79.46 25%OFF | 120W Driverless AC 220V Samsung led 300pcs Only PCBA quantum board,QB288 V2 PCB with LM301B+660nm 3000K diy led plant grow light
Those look like they need direct 110/220 ac voltage wired directly to them. I wouldn't mess with that unless you have electrical experience.

Get 3 sets of 2 boards at 240ec.
That's a nice 720w of light you'll be able to hang over 3 spots at different heights. Such a bonus over a single fixture. You'll wanna custom build them though using individual single heatsinks on each board rather than the double length heatsinks for 2 boards. You'll want to space the boards about 20" apart.

As for your heat lacking, an oil drip heater will solve all those problems with almost no power and safe reliable heat.
I'm not really trying to have to build anything though. I wonder if they have ones premade in your size

Got another question fellas. Are the newest and best lm301b or lm301h? They are both available and I don't wanna get new old lights, lol.

There is minimal difference and cost vs efficiency comes in to question in most of the commonly used leds. Plenty still buying 561s
I believe the 301b and h are the same diode except the h is part of the newer released horticulture line and they are more resistant to environmental factors like moisture.

Hey it just hit me that this thread would probably also be the best place to ask what's the potency like with LEDs? Is it same, better or...? Can't trust all these voices out here trying to sell me something but since you guys don't stand to gain anything from one opinion or the other what do you say?

One spider farmer 1000 and two led shop lights at 45 watts each.. This is just a light app so not real scientific but think it equates to 500 ish umols at about 24 inches.. Is is enough for decent flowers?

Even my first half assed crop that didnt have enough wattage for a great flower was still more potent than the vast majority of the medical i get from dispensaries. There's a lot of variables in it, but it will give you just as much potential to grow something nice as anything else youd be able to buy.

Mars ts600 is driverless.
and it comes with a cord hard wired to it already.
maybe one or two of those panels he linked wouldnt be too bad, but trying to hook up any more than that together could get dangerous for someone thats inexperienced. I have to walk around my lights and wiring and AC voltage effects the human body much worse. Im fairly confident in my abilities, but I would not want a bunch of diy ac voltage over my head.
Call me overly cautions, but I even dim my drivers down to 25% or less when I have to work in the tent around my lights.

LEDs grow fire ass nug.
Sweet, gonna be joining you fellas soon. I just put my beans in the dirt today and I'll be running em under my t5's for a few weeks until my budget allows me to cop my first boards. Wish I could get em right away though after looking at your guy's grows I'm getting kinda excited to try out the new tech. Back when I was first doing indoors the only LEDs were those god awful UFO blurple fuckeries so it will be nice to see how we're growing in the future, lol.

You talking about dangerous for me? Never considered the danger factor. What kinda precautions should be taken with these things?
