it's kind of silly to pay a penalty when you can pay for health..with a penalty you get nothing..your dollar will go a lot farther purchasing an inexpensive policy.
A 90 dollar penalty is way easier on the wallet than the premiums.
One can also just sign up after severe illness or accident with no pre-existing limitations if one needs to.

The penalty is like $500 a year, to get healthcare you have to pay your deductible first, which is like $5,000 a year for many poor people, plus the premium of another $6,000 or so per year.

Hope they are using $11,000 of healthcare per year, otherwise they are on the losing end.

I think it would be cheaper to pay the fine, not get sick or hurt, and pocket that money.

44% of all Americans have less than $6,000 in savings.

56% have sub prime credit

nearly half of all Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

And the fact that they will be responsible for 40% of their medical bill.

Just a $50k hospital bill will cost the Obamacare patient more than $33,000

The millions of newly covered Americans will waste their money on plans that have high deductibles, high co-pays and will be in financial ruin if they have a major illness or injury. All for a political agenda.

Thanks Obama.

You don't pay attention and follow up. I have posted the video. That is not what Nancy P. said. She said that after all the negative attention, WE can read it for ourselves after it is passed. WHEN IT IS PASSED AS A LAW, THEN IT IS REAL. That was all that was said, and I posted the video, and it was Fox News the de-re-screwed it, that very day, and you swallowed their lie. So, here we face facts or are made to.
We can can read it after WE pass it.

You're already admitted the fact Obamacare will cost millions of poor people money, they can't afford.
But you still come out with the same left wing marching orders.
I find that hypocritical, but then again, you're on a pot forum, yet you're a prohibitionist, you are one confused dude.

2,2 million, if they pay up. HHS refuses to say how many have paid. 5.5 million lost their insurance. You will, too. When the illegal suspension of the employer mandate ends. You'll be screaming bloody murder then. People have already started dying because they have lost their insurance.
