hey whats up guys? finally got the logo kickin. anyone got any cheap quick fixes for odor? I built a scrubber to put on my exaust vent I got the design off here but it doesnt quite do the trick. I just need to get through the next couple of weeks till I can figure out a proper solution. has anybody bought a carbon filter from a hydro shop, do they work better than the homemade one for some reason. also Im almost through with the first experience and I think I am going to convert the bubbleponics theory to a multibucket setup. any thoughts? Im working on getting materials for it right now Ill post some pics when I get it started.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying the air line comes off the pump or the airstone comes off the air line? Could be that the air line you are using has been stretched too much where they attach. If that's the case I would cut off an inch and reattach. You could try the zip ties if that fails but the hose should be tight at both the air pump and air "stone" end.

PF,

Can't help you too much as I don't use odor control other than a cup of pinesol blue in a bucket of water with a fan blowing on it if I get company. Have it standing by at all times.

Yes its coming off of the airstone. It seems really tight but after 24 hrs. it seems to come loose.I will try to cut some line off to see if that helps.I m using the clear line, gonna switch to silicone today though.

are SH nutes all organic ?

Whats in them ?

Roseman - do you have a break down of the nutes ???

On their site it says:

GROW N-P-K 10:5:14
CALCIUM 6%, MAGNISUM 2%, SULPHUR 3%,

IRON .12%, MANGANESE .05%,
AND BORON, COPPER, CHLORIDE,
MOLYBDENUM, AND ZINC .01%

BLOOM N-P-K 5:15:14
(NOTE A SMALL AMOUNT OF NITROGEN IS STILL IN THERE)
CALCIUM 5%, MAGNESIUM 3.5%,
SULPHUR 4%, IRON .1%,
AND BORON, COPPER, CHLORIDE,
MOLYBDENUM, AND ZINC .01%

they are not organic, but they do add wierd stuff to them, like bone meal and pulvarized sea shells

Im using a hydrofarm 20 watt high output, 45/l min.Maybe is it that those flex air wands Im using are too restrictive?Like I said it seems that only about 7-8 inches or so have a ton of air coming out ,the rest of the line emits smaller bubbles. The airline is new,but Im thinking maybe those flex wands are too restrictive and popping the line off with all that extra pressure.

Might want to try a paperclip on the air line to reduce the pressure and see what happens. Keep in mind I don't use that pump or airstones.
