Let me first start by intrducing myself and letting you know a little bit about who I am and my experience. I'm college educated and a fairly heavy smoker (I tend to believe one causes the other). I started getting pissed because I found myself smoking through 200 dollars worth of the sticky stuff every two or so weeks (two bunts a day...well...fat blunts...and a few bowls...) and I was astonished at how fast my bank account was depleting. I thought there was really no way to get around the problem without quiting the stuff, but it turns out its a lot healthier than drinking or constantly smoking tobacco to have some fun....yet....that left me between a rock and a hard place. It wasn't untill a friend of mine mentioned his goal to grow his own, that my brain finally caught up to my heart.

Immediatly I pondered on the safety risk of growing your own. You know, the newbie questions. "How much electricity does it cost per month? Is it noticeable to authorities? How much can i effectively grow in 2 months? Will I be able to self sustain?"

I got a few answers from my google-fu and my browser finally rested on bubbleponics sh solution. As I understand it, the electricity from one unit (all I intend to run) will set me back about 25 a month. Thats not bad, and not noticeable. But alas, I only have a walk-in-closet to work with (and I kind of need that for clothes) so the 21 inch container from SH would fit my needs pretty well. THe temp, as far as I know, needs to be in the 70's and 80's, which is no problem because I live in freaking Miami....all I gotta do is let the air conditioner run like it always does.

I started to get concerned. "Is it really this easy?" and started to dig more into the subject, finding more cons like the smell produced. Originally I was going to buy the SH system with dual spec lights and enclose it in a custom wood locked with a hole for a fan and exhaust fan to keep circulation at maximum. I thought i would have been a great idea, but I have this nagging feeling that I won't be able to meet the harvest requirements (which for me is about an ounce and change a month) with just guess work. I dont want to flush 200 down the drain like that, so I need advice from you. BTW be very proud that anything to do with bubbleponics and weed on the entire internet usually points to you or your posts.

The on the the main question.

Is the Dual SPectrum SHBubbleponics kit capable of producing a harvest of 3ounces in a tight space (the container will have the bubbleponics system in it + lighting and rise to 4ft from the ground, and will be just a little wider than the tub)? I would love to have a specific room or closet to grow in, but alas, I will have to make due with the container.

Thank man, I always did say that smokers were generally nicer than non-smokers, hehe. Ok, so the yield is doable and thats AWSOME for me. But can it be done inside the measurements alloted in my last post? "A 4ft tall rectangle with a 30inch base)

P.S.
If it indeed can yield that amount or more from a space that small, I will order this system friggin today.

You'll have to grow an indica strain with the height limit but most of us do either that or some Indica/Sativa hybrid with the height leaning toward the indica side. Study up on supercropping and LST (low stress training).

that's what I based my opinion on yes, You can more than quadruple that number with the same amount of plants in a larger space. I got over 16 oz last time...

And I'm not the only one, plenty of people have. or very close to that.

I am along for the ride, I just found this. I myself am still in my first grow but even fighting the elements I feel its going pretty well. I dont get a chance to get on here to much but I will gladly answer any and all questions to my ability.

I used to drink Falstaf - Falstaff beer, years ago, but I'm not sure how it was or is spelled. Like 35 years ago, ever heard of it.

Man, its Friday, just got home from the office, I've just smoked me two bong bowls of bud, then a half gram of HASH, and working on a joint now, while my first beer chills in the freezer, to be extra cold. (I'm just a grinning)

Mt very first grow, I did everythign wrong, almost killed them 3 or 4 times, haarvested 3 females and got 5 and half ounces from the three plants. They were pitiful too. I did not know anything like i know now about NOT KILLING THEM FOUR TIMES and stretching, increasing buds, etc. It did take me an extra three weeks, (16 weeks) but I really killed them so bad one time, all they had was stems and stalks with half the leaves gone adnt he other half dying, , and they recovered and bounced back to life. I kept trying stuff, man, I really messed up.

Today, I can easily get 7 to 8 ounces, and I mean you can easily too, and by ounces, I mean of dried, manicured very close buds, not counting any leaf weight at all, from 3 females in one tank.

And if you wait until tomorrow, well, PM me tomorrow.,not today, tomorow..

Well,,,I got some great news.


I been emailing the owner of SH back and forth for over 3 years,, he's really a super nice guy, used to work for NASA, yep, a real rocket scienetist. We've become friends over the years. I used to be a paid proof reader for a big company years ago, and he uses me to proofread and write and gives me freebies and discounts. I been telling him that when I have to go to a different site to buy Mylar or ONA and find bulbs there cheaper, it makes me want to buy somewhere else.

stumbled upon this website today, we're two hot chix, our typical friday night.
We have to remember to come back tomorrow.
But we like what we see.
and oh by the way, we don't grow we just smoke and we want receipes for cooking and baking...and it will be the near-sighted following the far-sighted. oh wait, who's who.
