The brown dirt warrior videos?

Just curious, in the brown dirt warrior guerilla growing videos and in his tutorial, heis shown putting handfulls of nutes (looks like granular ferts) from a 5 gallon bucket into his soil. If im not
mistaken maybe he said it was advanced nutrients? Is this an organic or in organic fert and does
anyone have any idea as to what that stuff runs per container?

If its very expensive then I wont go there. I love granular fertilizer, what is some if the other is out
of my range thats on a good budget I can use? I just dont want anything with alot of blood, and
bonemeal due to pests digging up my girls. Thanks in advance!

AN Heavy Harvest spring/summer/fall blend n-p-k slow-release fert. This will be my first outdoor with these and they can run a little expensive
50-60$ per seasonal blend but hoping to get a good result from it

its a 20-20-20 fertilizer... Try one of the generic brands for the same product without the namebrand price... check out Jack's Classic All purpose (20-20-20) and Jack's Classic Blossum Booster... jack's classic is a dry fertilizer that disolves in water and has micronutrients too. half the price of the Advanced Nutrients

ok so with jacks, if it dissolves with water, are you talking like water soluble fert as in miracle grow? Or do you premix it
in the soil? I tried some granular ferts last year, came in a box and was very cheap, it actually come from a family dollar
i think and the results were amazing!

I get good results with Rainbow Mix dry fertilizers. Both grow & bloom formulas. It's organic & not very expensive. You might take a look, if you can find it. No blood meal in it, I don't know if animals would dig it up, I live in the city.
Good luck

Looks like it would be some pretty good stuff. I just read reviews on both jacks and rainbow
and they both seem to work well.

Last year I done a little test and grew a few different plants with different ammendments
and ferts and I had good results with everything but the heavy blood and bonemeal mix.
Don't get me wrong in the beginning the plant ammended with blood/bone done great and
I had chickenwire around all my plants. Around here, once mid may to august the helicopters
fly around like crazed migrating geese, its miserable! So i pulled my wire up even though it
was painted green/brown/tan with camo paint, those eyes in the sky can see more than you
would imagine they can see.

So about a week later when I removed the wire the plant was tore to pieces and roots dug
all to hell. The ones ammended with the granular non organic ferts was doing great also and untouched.
Most of my plants I didnt even ammend the soil with anything but promix, perlite, water retaining
crystals and thats it. What did I do about ferts? Well, I used miracle grow during vegetation mixed in
gallon jugs, it was doing an amazing job but the exhaustion got to me. So an old hippie friend of mine
said you can just take the miracle grow and throw and sprinkle it around the base of the
plants before predicted rains and it worked like a charm. This did work. And then when flowering
started I swithced to miracle grow bloom booster. And had pretty good results.

Anyone familiar with osmocote or dynamite time released ferts and had good results?

If you can get rainbow mix, you can just top dress with it ever couple of weeks. Works great
Good luck

Depends on the size of the plant. I use 1/2 cup every 2 weeks as a top dressing. Switch to bloom formula when I see flowers starting.

old post but miracle gro sucks for plant health. it will grow the plants sure but the plant will not be in great health and will have a shitty flavor. ive used it i know now im using maxi gro/bloom and im also trying organic living soil this year to see what the hype is about and see if i like it or not.
