Can anyone recommend something to clean a bud trimmer (manual bowl version)- used it twice and need to clean it but its tarred up so just water etc wont do it. Says online to use rubbing alcohol but cant find anywhere that sells it so wondered what else i could use?
Go to your local hospital and half inch a bottle of hand sanitiser off the wall better yet if you got some money go to good old tesco and buy some hand sanitiser if it isn't on the shelf ask at the pharmacy section

This is mu second attempt on the plumber theory, holygrail 69 it's not doing good at the moment I had an issue but I have solved it and now she is back to praying at week two, three weeks on Thursday.

The second pot in the background was the Painkiller but left few little buds to seed, but gonna scrap it and move it out to put c.kush in tonight.

So I'll have my second and third plumbers theory plants lol:bigjoint: But not as neatly as you lovely pros :finger: lmao

Just a quick drop in but mainly to say thanks for all the kind words and PMs regards my missus, its gonna be a while before I get time to sit chatting my normal shite after tonight lol... no kids and no trumping rhinoceros!

Anyway I got rid of everything barr a 1.2 tent and have just taken 4 random seeds from my collection and popped them in wool balls buried in coco, looking fucking mint they are too!!!

I have no idea which is which and don't really care tbh, its gonna be a nice surprise and a bit of fun for me really. It was a shame to get rid of all my clones. mothers and gear but I just wanted a fresh start and promised my missus I'd give it a rest.

@THCBrain theres nothing wrong imo, but the yellow areas in the pictures could be showing you radiant heat or a hot spot, she does look a tiny bit 'stress' curled but I'd say as long as the ph is 5.9, nute temps around 20ish and you are keeping the feed consistent then it will be fine. See ? In my experience those double edge leaf serrations are often synonymous with good genes an greedy plants, as in they will take a bit more N during veg and a fair amount of extra K in flower! A bit of 2-0-0 calmag plus with iron never goes amiss during this first few weeks ime, seems to keep things looking heathy without overloading the N. She gonna be a brute chap!

lol... let us know your thoughts on the bud trimmer m8! I took my blades off and froze them, all the glue snapped off and must have got a 10mm ball of squidgy off them!
I find theres pros & cons with using the trimmer, if like me u hate the trimming then it really cuts the time in 1/2 but the bad thing is the thing hacks the bud to hell...spend bout an hour just picking the bits out of the bowl lol..

Also on the plus side tho the bud seem to dry faster when not hung attached to branches and theres not the monotonous task off cutting off the bud when dryed (:

I like mine all hung untill snap off, but allways take about a q or so and chop it off the stem to dry faster and it keeps me off the rest untill the are spongy...

Does anyone know the difference in taste the ones I leave allways are smoother than the ones I quick dry.

But has any one tried both ways and dried properly?

Just wanted to say that I've been concerned for your family of late, I'm glad to hear things are looking up for everyone... except maybe your clones.
Thanks its been tough and its put things in perspective for me and my daughters, as for the clones and mothers I'm getting a 10% cut lol! I got near on a grand for all my big stuff so Ive gone for a roof cube 1.2 x 1.2, some spinners, all new coco n pebbles and a new 1.2 gull wing reflector with fresh 600w MH n HPS lamps plus a unis co2 solenoid controller. The four seeds I popped are doing really well and I have taken a clone off the exodus mother plant, couldn't risk losing it even though theres a few about!

Reet its Trevor Mcdonut and a nice fat doobaaaaaa :bigjoint:

Yeah and to be fair its alright on the strimmer but it knocks shit out of em so for me its only the very big thick stuff that goes in. I ended up with a good bowl full of trim off 40 zips and maybe that 40 was actually 41/42 of bud by hand? Its faster though as VD says and to be fair once put in my buckets for 3-4 week its pretty much same as anything thats been well hung :bigjoint:

This was after a single plant!

According to various info on different sites but THC degrades under too much light so therefore reduction of light at the end of harvest would infact increase THC and increase bud... Not just stating facts but actual proof for me personally...
Yes, light does cause THC to degrade, after a plant has been harvested. On a live plant, light does not cause THC to degrade.

I was just trying to help you, I don't care if you choose to ignore what experts say. You can continue to feel around blindly in the dark until you produce what you think is good bud.

Let me say it again, bud flowered under 10 hours of light will have HALF of the THC of a bud flowered under 12 hours of light. It has nothing to do with the size of the buds, which is what you said, it's about the amount of THC in the resin.
