The Book of Mormon Musical...not what I expected.

I was surprised! I thought it would be a play purely making fun of Mormons, but I was wrong. Jokes about homosexuals, cancer, domestic violence, Chinese, Africans, Orlando...

It was funny seeing half the audience laugh at a joke, while the other half remained silent, then the next joke had the other half laughing. You could tell people liked it while being uncomfortable at the same time.

Has anyone else seen the play? What did you think?

I just took a look at a bunch of online reviews. Folks in general echo your impressions.
Its from the south park people so the outlandishly politcally incorrect isn't unexpected.

I havent seen it but im more interested after this post.
