The Biggest Yield in the Universe

Hi everyone, i was wondering how much would a plant grown in a spaceship yield?? Given the right conditions of air, moisture and pretty much everything it takes for a Cannabis plant to grow here on Earth.. And i mean growing in a zero gravity ambient the whole time, it would probably give a very tall plant, do you think the buds would be accordingly big?? bongsmilie
At least i dont think there are laws against growing MJ outside of our planet!

I believe the already (or plan too soon) grow hydroponic vegtables in space... So growing weed shouldnt be any different... although it may stretch more in space?

The plants would be very soft and flimsy since they won't have to work against the stress of gravity. I'm not sure how that would effect bud growth...perhaps it would increase bud growth since the plant doesn't have to spend energy standing up straight.

In a space environment, your "grow closet" could have plants covering every wall, the floor, and ceiling, with HPS lights at hanging in the center of the room so that all the plants grow outward. Bud walls: hell yes.

What would happen to root growth? Without gravity to direct, where would a tap root go?

it would grow some amazing buds as the trichome development would be through the roof.

the exposure to UV rays would make the trichs develop all over.

dunno what cosmic rays will do to plants though, might not be good.

I hope they take some pics of this space hydroponic grow so we can have an idea of what would be like a cannabis one..

maybe give the plants a low level of gravity just for the roots, then once its started, do the weed sphere thing? crazy though, a billion variables
