Hi everyone,
in your opinion what is the best pot shape? Short and wide or tall and narrow?
I noticed that the roots grow very deep but little on the sides, so i prefer the second one type. May be useful make holes in the sides (such as Superoots Air Pots but without the spikes)?

the shape is unimportant to me as the final product is what I am after

taller and narrower is better so roots can grow down

im using 5 gallon buckets, you dont have to go that big but a good rule of thumb is a gallon for every month the plant is alive

some people go by a gal pot for every foot of plant you plan on growing, but some strains get be short with a hell of alot of roots.

on my wish list is square pots too!
