The best grinder money can buy

Hi all

For about two years now ive had a zinc crank grinder that seriously kicked ass. However it just broke like my last one. I want you guys to tell me what type of grinder you think is best and why. I dont like aluminum ones cause the aluminum can leave small particles in the herbs nor the plastic acrylic ones because of the BPA, plus some just chip off some of the plastic. Have you owned a grinder for a loooong time as in 5 years minimum?

Thanks

Not to be a dickhead but why use a grinder?
I never had one or want one.
Blunts?
I never liked using my fingers to break the material, not fine enough plus the weed i grow is way too resinous for my delicate finger tips. lol
You cannot buy cany backwoods or swishers in my country unfortunately... I do miss a good blunt :(

I just pinch a bit off a bud and put it in a pipe or bong and the taste and burn are just great.
Joints were nice on trips.
I still roll a number now and then.
The Fiskars is good for dicing up bud to roll.
Most any scissors.

I really didnt like blunts.
Too much tobacco made me nauseous.
Just good cured smoke or hash or shatter or.... lol

The space case is a great grinder and they have a titanium version, although I dont know if that solves the
shaving problem that aluminum has. I havent had it for more than 5 years but this thing is built like a tank. Grinds like a champ too.

I've been looking for a good one as well and thought about the Space Case. The Ti finish is supposed to eliminate the shaving issue which was my main concern. Wasn't aware anyone made a solid stainless one.

Space case 4 piece titanium are the shiznit IMO.. super pricey but way sharp and last forever...

I never used a grinder for years and years, but once I did I can't imagine going back.. grinders make bud last way longer IMO by making a small nug a huge pile of ground weed which smokes much smoother and burns better as well..
I don't know how I ever lived without a grinder my first 20+ years of smoking tbh..

I recently bought the space case large 2pc titanium fella. It's pretty darned good. when a build up of trichs occurs, i just go at it with a pocket knife and a jewellers screwdriver and they don't leave so much as a scratch. It is quite the tank.

Just get a black and decker or other trusted brand name coffee grinder, cheap ones go to shit quick but they work great ! and you can melt lighter child locks into the lid to make kief traps :)
or cut a credit card.

i have a cheap piranah. shaved when i first used it, but that was 2 years ago. i use a thick stem to clean it, and like others i can't see not using 1 now. a must for vaping, imo.

agree with RB, never used a grinder for 40 years and now, I won't give it up:)
I'm telling you, imvho the grinder is probably the best canna invention in my life time..
Such a simple concept, but damn how I love them .. I did have an aluminum one that the threads got stripped and it wouldn't open, but don't have those issues with the ti ones..
And the keif collection is great too.. after I get so much I press up a nice chunk of hash in my lil keif press I bought .. thing works killer, get a nice penny sized nug of hash and put it on top of a bowl of bud..:):)

Try soaking it in Grunge Off and just wash it off after an hour or two, comes out like new.

Because i wish to smoke the stuff i'm scraping out. After running a couple of grams through it i can always scrape out enough kief from the bottom, and compressed kief from the sides, for a very nice joint :)

Had bought a hi-grade aluminium grinder several years ago but didn't like it much, always have just used scissors
Dr. Jekyll

recently we had a spillage of Ona resulting in very stinky fingers so didn't want to contaminate the pot so used this cheap plastic grinder that VSB had given me
damn it worked well, just may dig up the old aluminium grinder and give it a whirl again

2 years out of a grinder is pretty good. They're not going to last forever...

Ive heard most titanium grinders out there are actually alloy with aluminium, do not know the ratio, i do know that titanium is shit expensive and i can only imagine it being expensive to drill too. I would buy a titanium grinder if i knew it was 100 % titanium but i doubt anyone would be willing spend probably around 200 euro for a real titanium grinder.
I might have made some exarcebated assumptions there or have bad information.
I only smoke bongs pretty much, and i never liked picking nugs and packing a bowl. I always grind it, shape it into a wee ball with my fingers and i actually blow torch it from really far until the weed half burns half vaporises from the heat. It burhns much better when its ground and i find you dont use as much.
Ive always used a grinder, i went through a time i used to buy a plastic 1 for a quid every month cause theyre not really cleanable. Ive used crank grinders for a long time now and theyre pretty tits when it comes to the grinding action, though the screw of the crank will wear off with time (i am sure i have ground at least 1 kilo on the last grinder one but at a time). However since you are not rotating the top part of the grinder just the wheel inside spins, you dont get any of that gunky residue build up on the sides and such. Im a bit afraid a polycarbonate one would do the same since the plastic ones ive used are pretty much unusable after a few weeks.
Im pretty pissed off actually, i was gonna buy 2 grinders but then decided not to. I feel so bare without my grinder.
Also been reading a bit about metals and it seems that anodized aluminum doesnt shave off.
