With the recommended wattage per sq ft by multiplying the width and length that gives you your sq ft but I have only 1.5mtrs headroom and thats reduced 10inchs with fabric pots and 8inchs lost with the led hanging. Apologise in advance if this is obvious or I'm not getting it.. im terrible at maths..im very good at building though

Thanks

Basically asking how to work out what I need for.my room
If your good at building maybe you should build a custom light for your space..
Strip lights run at lower voltage can be mounted higher and give a better spread..

I have 2 x hlg 240 48ab drivers and 4 lm301b 660nm QB but running them on 1 driver at the moment. Would you say that the best or would tou run both drivers?
The drivers are dimmable so I would run both and mount them remotely..

@HydoDan's suggestion of DIY is good if you feel up to it.

The ideal power draw on the lights still holds. If it's 5x5, then up to 1000w, at least 750w.

If I were tight on headroom, I would want to mount the driver outside of the grow area, or at least not above the light, to save that extra few inches.

I would use trellis net positioned about 6" above the soil surface and train the plants out sideways. Keep bending the shoots down and weaving through the trellis. Once you have the trellis about 75% filled in, then flip to flower lights. Depending on how the plants behave, you might benefit from a second layer of trellis about 12 to 14 inches above the lower trellis to support the branches as the buds get fat.

I would run strains that don't stretch too much.

Can you access the 5x5 from all sides? 3 sides? At least 2 sides?

I've got that exact light arriving tomorrow. Been also chatting with them on alibaba and have been having a hell of a run around regarding diodes.
From what I can tell there are 3 versions of the M1000.

Version A uses San'an 3030 led; 288pcs led per bar
Version B uses San'an 3030 leds as well; 340pcs leds per bar
Version C uses Samsung + Osram; 360pcs leds per bar

But I've had a rep tell me on more than one occasion that the version with 3400 leds are using LM281B's which doesn't match with the info I've found online. So we shall see lol

They did quote me on alibaba $345 shipped from their US warehouse, which is quite a bit cheaper than the $440 + tax I paid on Amazon.

Just an update. I was able to get the 1000w shipped from a US warehouse direct from the manufacturer on Alibaba for $345 plus tax.

It arrived 5 days after ordering (2/17-2/22) and even had the same Amazon product label as the one from Amazon.

Does Spider Farmer do 4/20 sales that are cheaper than the deals and coupons that they normally have most of the time?

Anyone got any MIGRO discount codes?

Thoughts on the MIGRO 5x5 array vs the SF SE7000 ?
