I personally don't care. As long as it doesn't have a collar lol. Although at the time we did lose our appetite.
I should clarify, just tell me it's chicken, otherwise don't lie and let me catch you. I'll eat damn near anything but if you tell me possum is chicken and I get sick because it wasn't properly cleaned etc then you'll need to file a restraining order because I'm coming for you lol. Serving road kill is NOT okay, nor is serving cat/dog or whatever because of the rediculous health risk, not to mention it could have been someones pet.

When playing games it's best to avoid the forums like the plague. They can be great, but it's always a bunch of people complaining about how terrible the game is and how it's getting worse yada yada and if you're on for long you'll end up just wanting to not play anymore.
Back when Darkfall wasn't completely dead and was in the process of dying the forums were a massive bitch fest, got to the point where I was on them more than the game itself. One day I hop on the game and say "holy shit, those guys need to stop bitching and start playing, I see plenty of players still running around and the game isn't anywhere near as broken as they say." Magic was extremely OP back then and as a complete noob in chain gear with a shit sword and bow and I damn near killed a guy in dragon gear using pure magic, he was skilled too, I just utilized cover and put up more of a fight than what he was used to or expecting from such a fresh person.
Well anyway, when it comes to games, stay off forums. Unless you're in the RP section, that place is usually safe.
