The Beatles - Get Back

I watched the three part series and although at times it was a bit on the dry side, overall I enjoyed the documentary.

Part 1- was almost a bit depressing as the concept of having the live concert in the warehouse was just not a good idea.

Part 2 - they relocated to their studio and the atmosphere greatly improved.

Part 3 - was really good and informative, plus the rooftop performance was very entertaining.

I was amazed at how Billy Preston contributed to the band, in fact they referred to him as the 5th Beatle.

Anyone else watch the series?

As someone who's helped "roadie" in various fashions for small to medium acts, I found this way more enjoyable than, say, my wife, who just cared about the music itself. I was enthralled by how stuff was set up, like all the weird little nuances of the filming process, I was picturing myself documenting my buddies filming a "pilot" or some kind of music video to promote their band. I was, like, weirdly able to put myself into the documentary in that sense.

I really really enjoyed it. Fell asleep watching it still, lol. And I slept like a baby

At the time it was the top technology equipment, in the good old days when amps were all tubes
Musicians pay a premium to "get back" to these old technologies. There's a warmth to the final product that you just don't get with new "perfect" digital. It's like adding UV to your grow  lol

agree....many of today's generation would not believe a tube amplifier outputs superior sound quality to our modern electronics
