The association between early marijuana use and health problems. A longitudinal study

"In this prospective longitudinal study, the authors investigated the association between marijuana use over a period of 13 years and subsequent health problems at age 27. A community sample of 749 participants from upstate New York was interviewed at mean ages of 14, 16, 22, and 27 years. Marijuana use over time was significantly associated with increased health problems by the late twenties, including respiratory problems, general malaise, neurocognitive problems, and lower academic achievement and functioning. Effective prevention and intervention programs should consider the wide range of adverse physiological and psychosocial outcomes associated with marijuana use over time."

Interesting read.

The bolded looks to me like selective data recognition. You would also see that OP got precisely what he requested. Glib dismissals did not occur until several iterations of attempted reasoning gained zero traction. You make no mention of that inconvenient fact.

You would know these things if you felt the Duty to read the whole thread(s) in question.
Still skating rings around your not bothering to read the initial thread LOL because well you are simply morally superior. I'm really good with that. As my momma used to say if you aren't smart you better either be beautiful or nice.
I've read this thread.

I found the quote from this and and the subsequent posts Far over anything I would post:

Well that explains the reading comprehension issues. BTW where did you spend that three year hiatus and was it for drugs, say Heroin?
It's perception. Please show me where the person you were disagreeing with pinpoints specific hardships in your life and seemingly takes pleasure in them.

If you were not enjoying making fun of this person, why would you do it. There has to be a reward or motivation.

I don't see anyone doing the bolded. You are asking me when I stopped beating my wife ... by implication. Nobody pinpointed any specific hardships. Why say that when it isn't true? What is the objective of your manipulation?

Did you not read this thread in it's entirety?

What does this have to do with beating wives? It's common for Internet strangers to take pleasure in an others pain. To cross a line of decency because there are zero consequences. In other forums, the consequences of that behaviour is often a group austrosizing and berating of those that go below the belt. Here it's been ignored and encouraged.

I asked why. And the answer from some is, we don't care it's only the Internet and no one should be upset. Not intending malice, just being flippant.

Agreeing to disagree.

The trouble is that the bolded presumes the paragraph preceding it to be fact.

Thus I challenge you: find us one example of me or my friends doing what you assert, i.e. pinpointing someone's personal difficulties.

You keep insinuating that we banded together to beat up an innocent. The noise about the line of decency is a red herring.

Find an example. Until then, your implications are empty.

Let's try this one more time. You are not the arbiter of moral decency. Your judgment doesn't mean squat to me or anyone of my ilk. Think we cross a line, call a mod.
Why would I tattle on you? I would prefer to ask someone why rather than get a third party to modify their behaviour. No TOS have been broken. It's easy to give insults without actually swearing.

My question was when you bumped this thread laughing at the OPs self proclaimed weight gain and marijuana dependency, as a retaliation for calling you names, why didn't it end here.

They mention PTSD and past problems. You bulldoze by that and go on to say "see this member owned you back then too". And then bump another thread.

At no point nothing inside you said, this is a person. This is too far. Why not? I don't understand that. And I first inferred possible sadism (which I am very willing to admit I could be wrong about) and then I asked.

You have yet to answer, and I do not expect you too. You owe me nothing.

I've answered you repeatedly. You simply repeat your same screed. I think you are being deliberately obtuse but I don't really care. Now for a nice musical interlude.

I think your answer was “he started it”. I don’t remember, I’m sorry for forgetting. My mistake.
