Lets get some pics up of fish in our aquariums. I KNOW I'm not the only one with a fish tank. Lets see what you guys got. :) Fresh and salwater it doesn't matter.

Currently I have a 20gal freshwater setup.

From the top down is my brichardi cichlid I just got it today, followed up with my dwarf gourami, he's pretty sweet lookin, and last is one of 2 blue rams in the tank. I've also got 6 black skirt tetras(the pics a bit blurry...) and one mottled corydoras catfish. what do you guys think?

gouramis are my favorite! i used to run a 30 gallon freshwater tank but ive had a hard time keeping my fish alive, i assume it is something in the water. its sitting empty now

this is gonna piss me off cause I bought a brand new 1/2hp chiller that I thought was going to my aquarium, the aquarium that I never ended up getting because I folded and gave that room up for the wife's hobbies. :-(

Kinda glad thought because I want to do a salt water setup instead. Someday....

what the fuck do I do with this chiller? any fish lover sites that people are looking for chillers?

One of my tanks - 40b currently inhabited by 2 California roach, 7 neon tetras, several juvenile mosquito fish, 2 killifish, and a ton of cherry shrimp, ghost shrimp, and snails. I use the same organic soil blend for my plants as I do with my aquarium and it does amazing. DIY lighting/hood and co2.

Hands down, thats a beautiful tank you have there. I wish mine was like that lol

What kind of killifish do you have? I used to have some golden wonders and a blue gularis. I've bred the GW's before using the "mop" method. Crazy lil fish their eggs can dry up for months and as soon as water hits they hatch. :)

@spandy, you could try ebay maybe? other than that I really wouldn't know sorry man

Ive gotta 125gal south american cichlid tank. No picks on my phone. Still love watchin it for hours at the end of the day

Thank you. My killifish is N. eggersi blue but is much prettier than any of the ones I've seen pictured on google images. Truly a beautiful species. I would love to give rachovii a try

Oh right on :) are yours aggressive at all? I noticed when I had my golden wonders they tended to eat smaller fish like guppies as well as chase other fish. I never really had trouble with the gularis when I had it.

I was expecting aggression but in a community tank where the numbers are not in their favor they seem to be pretty timid. By far the most curious fish constantly checking things out and nibbling on stuff but aside from hounding a male mosquito fish it has a crush on, it leaves everyone else alone.

few more of my fish! lets see if anyone knows what they are!

Dunno what kind of cichlid that first one is, pics 2 and 4 are snakeheads though right? and the 3rd one is a knife fish :D Some pretty big ones you got there lol

Glad to hear it gas, nothing worse than getting the wrong fish and winding up with a tank of dead ones. ;)

they are actually polypterus aka bichirs... the cichlid is a blue johanni
and the last is the clownknife... small in that pic, about 17" now!

goldfish are a dirty source of food with alot of fatty oils... they arent really a good nutritional source.

mine are fed a mixture of market shrimp and hikari massivore pellets

Oh cool, I suppose I never really looked at it that way. But then again I had an old high school proffessor with a 100 gallon oscar tank, he would always tell us about how "you can't just feed them goldfish it isn't enough" and so on. lol
