Don't quote me on this... But, I'm thinking that somewhere in an Aqua Globe thread someone suggested using the bottles that you would feed a hamster with... or maybe it was something that they found at Home Depot.

I've got a trip to Home Depot coming up later this week... I'll look around and see if there's a non hand threatening version there and get back with everyone.

i bought the aqua globes but i hear that the roots need a water/dryness (oxygen) ratio and sense the aqua globe feeds the plant water when oxygen is created then idk if its a good idea.

i havent tried it yet but, if any one dose then please let me know.

I bought a set of 4 aqua globes, I was really interested to see if this would work with my plants. I tested it in a normal plant and it seemed to do the job. I think the marijuana plant is a little more sensative then what the aqua globe allows.

All in all I spent 25 on 4 globes of glass.

I used them when I was away for thanksgiving break for school. They worked. But, your plant will suck up all the water out of them in around a day depending how large it is. I was gone 10 days without watering it was fine.

the aqua globe replaces air bubbles with water in your soil.. weed uses pretty loose soil, or likes pretty loose soil, i would think it'd flood the plants.. i dunno though.

for regular house plants with thicker soil mixes, it would work fine.. slow growth plants.. house plants.. not under lights.. just using room light to grow and stay alive..

just a thought..
