Yea man I did the same thing and jus jumped into it by buying a ag, and it was the biggest mistake ever. They will grow weed but the amount is not worth the 150 u pay for it. I also suspect the one ur gettin for 150 is the basic and not the deluxe. The basic has a shorter light arm and less light, plus when u get to 12/12 u will have to do it manually or buy a cord which operates the light seperate from the system, cause the timer does not set to 12/12. In a nut shell u would be better off taking your 150 and getting some cfl's and soil, or making a DIY system. All can be done with the 150 u were gone spend on the AG (If using cfl's).

I've seen these in stores. They don't look too good, they are too small. More for a casual herbs grower, then a serious pot grower.

As I'm sure has been mentioned, it's better to build your own DIY Aeroponic system. That way it can be tailored to your will... And will probably come out cheaper for a larger system.

Just hit the search button and type in 'Aeroponics' ... I think there's even a How to make a system in the DIY section. I'd show you mine, but don't have photos atm.

$150 can buy you a pretty decent system when going DIY

the only thing i think i would use them for is to start off clones and maybe seedlings, but the size and amount of light given off is totaly inpractical, even if you get the delux biggest one they have it still wouldnt be enough for a decent grow.

But for $150 you could build an ultimate aero-cloning system and/or a decent DIY aeroponic system!

Research it a bit before deciding if you really wana part with your $150, or if you'd rather put in some effort and elbow grease to get the best system for your money.

Cheers peoples!
