Cup Update Time:
Midget-Zilla is getting close, I'm thinking another week. I've attached a closeup of the Trichomes. Feel free to let me know what you see. Still feeding at about 400 PPM with Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and 1 Tsp of Cal-Mag per gallon. I'm only using a gallon every 2 weeks.
The last pic shows the two females that I did not pick. I have been Re-Vegging under 400 Watts of 3590. If it ever warms up here in Maine, they are going outside.
Not as many updates this week, I am thinking we may have lost 1 or 2 more?? Anyone have a count for who is left?

Hey everyone im sorry i forgot my kast update, i was extremely busy getting ready for finals at school and taking tests, as well as getting ready for family to be over. Luckily I'm finished with school now.
My contestant is doing alright, not sure how much she'll bulk up with being rootbound and yellowing leaves. But she's frosty at least. I understand if i need be disqualified for being 6 days late, i just couldnt find time to make the update much less sleep this last week. Anyways without further ado here she is.

Hi all,
My little girl did dried super fast, less than 9 days, i was aiming for at least 14 days... And believe me or not but the weed is super smokable already, maybe one of the best pheno of GreenCrack that i ever have from this breeder (HSO) ! The weed is dank and strongly smell like cat piss, at the point that become a problem for non smokers around me.
In terms of yield, i did improve my numbers since last comp, i did a more than 30% bump in yield, i came from 6gr to 8.33gr.... I think there's a special place in hell for growers like me.
Will post some pictures of dried buds and weight later today, there are on my other computer.

Thanks for dropping my name. I forgot today was update day. I'll put mine up shortly. The top bud is getting pretty big on mine and still has a few weeks left

I was under the impression we were not allowed to change lighting during the entire comp?

Same panel. He just flipped a switch to turn off some leds. Look at the pic again. You can see the middle modules are turned off.

So we're allowed to adjust our lights if we have dimmable abilities, but no changing light source?
Sorry I'm actually confused about the rule.

Yes I believe so. I do know you are able to run panels in veg mode then flip to flower / full power mode. With the led panels that do that. Mh to hps with hid's bulbs as well. But fixture can't change. So dimming capable lights should be ok to dim. No point imo.

To my understanding yes you can adjusts lights if they are dimmable panels, but no you can not make light changes otherwise. To include changing light bulbs from mh to hps, that is changing the light source. You are only allowed to change the bulb if it burns out and is replaced with the same bulb. Thats how it's always been.
