it was reading your posts ;) on the last cup cup thread that make me not want to get too deep with the trash talk. Because you look pretty silly when your entry ends up in the garbage disposal :lol:
All im going to say is everyone loves an underdog story as im sure you already know. I might just pull off a rookie rocky balboa story and take down the champ apollo creed and win that belt. I just bought part of my set up today. Still need to get a few more things but i aint worried, i got the eye of the tiger and i aint scared of dawgs ;)image.png

Man, a lot of ego's are going to be crushed around here once you realize what it takes to get your cup past week 4 or so. Will you be crying "Blumat"? Hand watering multiple times per day? Or get creative and do something nobody else is doing like I am going to and show all you boys how its done this round.

Im going the creative route. Still might be watering twice daily by week 6 im guessing though.

Oh man, lots of smack talkin in here! You guys sweatin watering them should take notes from the dopest, flood and drain on a timer. Mine will be hand watered until the roots are established and then they go in the tray. The only thing I'll have to worry about is what I'll do with all the bud!

Dawg if you don't get any buds you can at least juice the leaf (if you can get any). I hear it tastes good with lemon.

Hey dope do you increase water cycles towards the end to more than twice per day?

I usually grow in 6" pots and flood the tray for 15 minutes every 3 hours of lights on, none with the lights off. I have a clone in a cup right now testing to see if I need to increase the feeding frequencies or not, so far it's fine.

I think there are no scrogs due to the NO vegging rule. It's got to be 12/12 straight from seed. There's no time to fill a screen.

That'll go to the owner and potential supporters of us; I want them to know that we're serious, have a great track record, well organized, and that this is beneficial to all parties involved!

Great job managing that mess so far, @FrozenChozen - thanks for your efforts. This competition is one of the coolest things about RIU, IMO.

The rest of you sluts better watch out, I'm bringing my 1st-year rookie nüber-powers to this shit-show. After dropping out of the last one I had regrets, like I'm pretty sure I can beat @The Dawg. Keep doing what you're doing, boss, don't change a thing.

Think I might run Scott's OG (fem).

I would love to see RIU take over the competition. Or any of the sponsor companies for that matter.

These competitions have been a mess and a continual argument. I would love to see it cleaned up and handled professionally. Until a professional with a company reputation at stake is host, this competition will likely be yet another clusterfuck.
