THC percentage.

So I just got a few strains from the dispensary.
Tangie 20%
Kauai Electric 13%
Blueberry Muffin 11%

I must say that the lower the THC the higher I got!!
Anyone else have this experience??
The Kauai Electric got me laughing so hard with waves of stone that kept coming and coming. All in the head and amazing feeling I don't get anymore.
The Blueberry Muffin might have been even stronger with a slightly psychedelic effects. Heart racing but straight up party weed!!
And long legs.
Now their 30% Kembo was weak compared as was the Tangie.
So maybe the old THC percentages of like 5 to 7% were ever stronger??
Maybe the THC inhibits the terpenes and esters and other cannabinoid??

I don't pay much attention to thc content. Obviously I want it in there but it seems to be the other cannabinoids play more of a factor than a lot of people give them credit.

I hate the THC percentage thing. THC percentage and advertising have ruined cannabis from my perspective.

The high thc strains are kinda boring in a way, one dimensional I guess you could say. Some of those old sativas with a lot of landrace dna still in them get your mind soaring and it's gotta have good flavor.

Tangie barely does anything ime. Not a fan of it or its progeny

We have a license to grow in WA. state. The labs tests the samples that we send in. We get to pick the sample. We learned very early that it is possible to game the system. You only pick the best of the best to test. We also learned that different labs have higher numbers that others. So the numbers are not measured accurately.

Interesting, would you just pick the ones that looked the most loaded with trichomes or parts of the biggest colas? Sometimes the smaller nugs seem to be more dense with trichomes.

I would watch the plants carefully while growing. Usually taking the buds off the main cola down to nugget size, that way can get most of the stem out, all of the sugar leaves and small stems. I believe I could add 3% points more just by trimming the nuggets properly. Since the labs test so many samples it is impossible for them to be sure what the product is so some growers would send in the same samples for all of their products. Once they found a strain that tested good that is all they would send in.
