The "inner circle" of waker groups will be broken with legalization, somebody will make a money grab snd the other members of the circle will disappear into obscurity.
Stop paying rediculious prices for seeds, pay what they are worth, the cost of production, a few bucks for 20-30 seeds plus shipping and handling.

Seeds are worth what people will pay for them. Plus, seeds are just about the cheapest part of a grow (unless you’re paying aficionado prices) and a good plant can be kept around for decades. I just don’t get people complaining about prices. There are plenty of seed banks that have cheap seeds. The quality just sucks.

Then what is the point of existing if the original breeder could just cut you out and make more money?
The original breeder dosent want to deal with you?

If someone takes the time to generate an ibl or heirloom strain then in reality with legalizition production will mimic things like tomatoes where in certain cases if you want a super sweet 100 you may have to get it from a licensed grower. But at any rate paying 10 - 20 bucks for a potential plant is too much imo.
Lets let 10 years pass I think the market will stabilize and we will once again see breeders that take the time to do selectuve projects. I hope.

10-20 bucks for a plant that could produce tens of thousands of dollars in product over its lifetime? The fact is, if there wasn’t money in it, then most breeders wouldn’t do it, or they wouldn’t be able to produce enough seeds to sell. People would be stuck growing bag seeds again or hoping they have good friends that produce seeds. Even in the early Amsterdam days, seeds were expensive. $80+ for ten seeds in the 80s.

Or buying corporate seeds at $3 for 50g. People will pay the perceived value. The actual value of producing thousands is correct based on today's black market prices. There is a cap or balancing point somewhere though. Oregon will probably find a new lowest price per gram. But still even if it does go legal nation wide in the us there will always be those who dont want to grow, this will begin to determine value. It won't be a subsidised agricultural crop though so pricing won be cotrolled it will be a rough rid for anyone dependant on the income.

If you’re just reselling seeds

why would you ever send seeds to again be resold anywhere else?

Seriously, I’m confused.
I breed & have my own brand of seeds , also know other breeders as well and were always gonna be looking to stock gear from REPUTABLE sources at the seedbank website

Hope i cleared up any confusion

I Forgot To Say I doubt there would be any breeders if money weren't involved.
Yeah money does play a minute part of it

But I give tons of meds away for free as well as genetics

Most "Breeders" are solely concerned with money

I like seeing my gear turn out awesome & love providing people with much needed medicine

Lots of breeders with crap gear

I agree with you but there's a cutoff point where a MF is just being greedy tho bro cause even if i bred something as amazing as SF or MAC would i charge the aficionado or topdawg price ?

No cause no pack of FEMS is worth more than $180 to me and no pack of regs is worth more than $125 to me

I honestly feel as if people don't share genetics enough these days and don't give back enough these days
Im trying to help change that

After reading the Thread and seeing the writing style i can see why youd think that but no that's not me ...
Pretty scary everyone is trying to breed with that Mob so what's the use in it after seeing that ?
And after a heated exchange like that i wouldn't ever be responding to anyone except to tell em to piss off if i didn't like them

Like i said before @Whoa#Bubb was my old profile here, and i can be a prick yeah but that guy was downright nasty as hell & probably deff didn't have skva91chem cause Only 1 other guy has it out here and I Got It From THEM & was told DONT give it out
Not Only That But CP is common as fuck out here & so isn't Mob & several other strains

& Last i Knew UDG got snatched by the feds & they ripped their site down so wtf is he talking about ??????

Like many of you, I want to try so much different strains that even 70e(80$) for each leads to insane amount of money, making your choice even harder ! But in the same time I realized I was not that much interested in the hype hybrid strains and more of the "pure" strains..
Also as a newbie I think it's good to start from there with the basics and I found out they are way cheaper than many chucked "elite strain" with little to no work.
Now my list is pretty much Ace and Mandala seeds, and the few "hype" strain that I will get are from breeders that at least do some work on their line like Karma and Trichome jungle. There are many more but that's the one I'm looking for.
Finally I won't give a cent to a breeder(?) that doesn't give any information about the strain they sell, beside which cross it is. IMO they lose a lot of consumers for this reason.

Quani ,I'm with you. Been growing for45+ years and spent a ton of $$ on seeds I find that mandala is hard to beat ,growing hasberry and satori now and got ace China going for first time. But I am very Leary of all these hyped seed banks.does not seem right to put out 30/50 so called strains a year and not give any genetic inf about the sttain or the cross.now having said that I did try Greenpoint seed Texas butter got two female s out of 10 seeds both plants have good structure etc but still 2 out of ten ain't very good.im starting to ramble. But have faith the good breeders and seed banks will make it and the bad ones wont
