Please elaborate tdash. I know a lot about apoptosis, particularly in regards to immune cells. What is it that you are getting at?

I guess you were referring to cancer cells and how THC affects them.

I don't know. Is there research on this? Does it really matter? I did see something the other day about how THC can help limit the onset of alzheimers which would not suggest a link with an increased rate of apoptosis.

It looks like there was a bit of research on it. Apparently THC downregulates protein pathways in certain cells and causes a structure change that induces apoptosis. It would be an anticancer, but they would target it to immune cells so that the patient didn't have to get the psychoactive effects.

I saw that alzheimers study also a few weeks ago. Interesting stuff.
