Learned a lot over the years from Rollitup and would like to pass out some praise to three guys the were key in my education:

SupraSPL

Thanks so much for the great posts on DIY with COBs. Really great advice and explanations on the electrical considerations, construction of fixtures, PPFD levels, spectrum, etc. I have moved on to QBs, easy transition. I started with the early LED fixtures, burple trash.

Homebrewer

Thanks for all the info on Kali Mist. My fav. Found a great pheno per his suggestions. Took a while (~15 fem seeds?), but well worth it. Not the easiest grow, but great effect and long lasting. Also, so important was his advice on ferts, ProMix and watering. Foliage Pro and ProTekt is all I use and in moderate amounts. Grow in ProMix HP, try to water every 3 days. Vintage Homebrewer.

Randomblame

Thanks for the great posts on VPD relating to LED lights and leaf temperature Also the explanation of the phony LED induced "CalMag deficiency" - can you say "get your VPD right?" Mystery solved, the last link in my evolution.

I would encourage newcomers and growers experiencing problems to seek counsel in the posts by these guys. Lots of posts, lots of searching and it takes a while, but well worth it.

So many people sleep on Dyna-Gro. I've been using it for years all thanks to HomeBrewer. It's a no-nonsense nutrient company that simply works, unlike some others I won't mention that are diluted, cost 3x as much and have like 15 parts.
