Looking great, yea she is a frosty one. Mine didn't have a ton of scent. Got a sweeter smell in cure, buds are super dense. its a stupid stone for me, makes me careless, concentration is non existent. Got it on a 2nd round now

61 Days and our Green Queen x JTR's are coming down. All other threads I have found on this strain have taken it between 63 and 70 Days so I am on the early side, but watching the amber climb into the trichomes has me pegging ours at 61 days. And holy fucking shit. All 3 have me mouth watering over their looks so it is just the testing to decide on phenos for us here. We are vary happy with how this 1 gallon test has turned out so far and will run all 3 in larger, 10 gallon smart pots.

Let's see some images and take some notes:

GQxJTR#1: Day 61 Flower. 22" Tall. For sure a favorite of the three. The bud density is insane, chunky, coated in resin, looking beautiful and super easy on the first level trim. I can tell the aroma will really develop on the finish here, it is already pushing out amazing smell. This will be the weight leader of the 3.

GQxJTR#2: Day 61 Flower. 16" Tall. My other favorite for sure, displaying incredible indica qualities with a shorter, stockier profile and amazing purple colors coming through. The smell is amazing and again, this pheno looks like it has been rolled in crushed diamonds the resin is so tight. I love this pheno even though the first level trimming was more difficult.

GQxJTR#4: Day 61 Flower. 19" Tall. This is a super vigorous hybrid pheno absolutely laden with resin and displaying an amazing orange color. Again, the aroma is nice and expanding. First level trimming is more difficult on this one as well. This is certainly a keeper, just my 3rd choice for some reason.

I'd love to check that beef stew aroma out... but also want to hear how the final high is as it's gotta be there for it to be worth it :) I'm almost to the point of rooting against new tga strains only because i have too many to buy and grow and can't afford to add more to my list :) i've already got 3 waiting to grow and at least as many on my list to get (and probably will pick up a couple on 4/20 at attitude so I can get me some of that QUSH)... TGA... so many strains, so little time :)

I don't know who tested plushberry but alot of hermie reports are coming in now.. 4 friends of mine reported hermies.. 1 had more than a couple hermies too. It seems common with the pink pheno but the purple one is throwing nanners too

so is the mom a afgooie cut?

*Currently using a male from a TGA/Subcool test project. TGA took a gooey cut being call "Green Queen" which smells of garlic/onion and crossed it with their proven Jack the Ripper male.

FINISH RESULTS: 04/16-25/2012

Allrightythen...

Our Green Queen x Jack the Ripper TGA Test Garden results are in and they are varied. We cracked 5 beans and got 3 females which were grown out in 1 gallon hard pots. All 3 phenos scored equally high on their medicinal effect with quick onset and a strong heady buzz. Aromas are also strong and pleasant with the sweet baby poo trait that we love so much. GQxJTR#1 is a definite keeper with insane yield for a 1 gallon pot and super high resin production. GQxJTR#2 is also a keeper although it yielded really low for us. The #2 pheno has an amazing purple color, off the hook resins (described as diamonds) and big terminal colas, it was just a squat little plant from jump. Our problem came with GQxJTR#4 which hermied out alongside a dozen other TGAs under the same conditions. No other plant hermied and there was no cross pollination so it looks like some buried herm :-( Not completely sure what happened as I am fairly new to pheno hunting, but we have a lot of full on mature seeds from #4 and this pheno was immediately axed from our genetic pool. We love the #1 and #2 though, either could be a keeper, just a lot of variation for us.

Here are the deets:

107g total / 3 plants = 35.7g / plant average across 3 phenotypes but the variation was extreme, ranging from 26g-50g dry.

_____________________________________________________________

GQxJTR#1: yield: 50g dry and 22" tall at finish
trim: 6 - medium difficulty
aroma: 8 - spicy sweet baby poo
look: 9 - phat crystally nugs, super sticky, orange
taste: 7 - light beef stew
effect: 8 - smooth with quick onset, strong and heady
SCORE: 38

_____________________________________________________________

GQxJTR#2: yield: 26g dry and 16" tall at finish
trim: 4 - difficult
aroma: 8 - sweet fruity grape baby poo
look: 9 - fucking incredible purple diamonds
taste: 8 - grape smoothie
effect: 8 - clear but strong and heady
SCORE: 37

_____________________________________________________________

GQxJTR#4: ** HERMI **
yield: 31g dry and 19" tall at finish
trim: 4 - difficult
aroma: 9 - light beef stew turned sweet baby poo on cure
look: 7 - red haired crystally nugs
taste: 7 - light beef stew
effect: 8 - quick onset, strong and heady behind the eyes
SCORE: 35

Many thanks to Subcool and TGA for all their compassionate hard work.
More to come...

my guess is the 1 gallon pots on the hermi? Plant got rootbound and blew out nanners cause it was stressed? It'd be interesting to see if the same thing would have happened in 7 gallon pots.

They are testers for TGA Subcool Genetics.. If they pass the test they will be named and released. So no name yet.

And here is the info I have on Green Queen:
*GREEN QUEEN NOTES: Here is most of the info testers have gotten about green queen, not a ton of info on it:
Momma by Dioxide..."I have to say this has got to be some of the best smoke and will always be in my garden. The yields are great the plant is easy to grow and the smell is off the chart. Its like a sweet garlic beef bullion pine smell"
Subcool - "It's actually an Oregon Medical strain that has won a few local med events. The reason it stood out to us was the taste and smell and it deff has a nice kick. Dioxide has a true passion for cannabis and a master at collecting strains."
Green Queen by Dioxide. “No relation to Killer Queen or Space queen that I know of it reminds me somewhat of Romulan but it has to be the most savory weed I have ever seen. It smells like french onion soup with loads of garlic and spices or some type of beef stew heavily spiced just a trip to smell. The smoke is also unique in that it has a again savory quality that just overwhelms the senses.”
In Weednerd 30 the growers in that video grew Green Queen and made reference to Killer Queen being in the genetics. I wonder if there is any truth to it. If I had to put a guess just based on what I seen around the net is Green Crack X Killer Queen.
