TGA By Others

I do have a question tho TGA fans has anyone had there qush and chernobyl strains nute burned from just Roots Organic soil? I transplanted them from a mix of roots and coco that i start seeds in and when there roots got into the RO mix burned the shit out of them. There recovering now and look okay but should i take this as a sign that they wont need much super soil in there pots.
I don't have a tremendous amount of experience with Roots yet but from what I've read Nugs recommends inoculating your base Roots along with your Super Soil so you don't get this problem, some people have had this issue with Roots being to hot straight out of the bag but "cooking" it will help even things out. It definitely is not a sign that they won't need much Super Soil, hopefully someone else can chime in with what amount has worked good for them with those strains. Hope I helped

sounds like you got a hot batch...i would recommend doing what DMD says, and empty all your roots bags out, and wet it down, mix, and put in a trash can to cook for a bit.....chances are the composted nutes they used in your batch were not composted enough, (very common problem with almost ALL big soil companys)....esp. this time of year in the U.S. because the demand was the highest of the year Apr.-June......so they tend to cut corners...slackers............so you can finish the job.........you can also add a bag of "empty" mix into the mix as you are mixing it up to mellow it a bit.......good luck, nugs

pretty green stuff from a 200 micron bag though, go way smaller then report back ;)
the plush berry isn't green at all but i do want to use a smaller micron bag. the dry ice bag was $24. between that and and buying a set of bags, i went the cheap route.

Hey SupaM, what is the return on dry ice hash? Compared to bubble hash, and is the quality as good as bubble hash?
I suppose I got about half of what I used(trim) back in kief. I've let it dry a few days now, so I'll weigh in to be sure. I've never had/made bubble yet, so I can't compare either. I would imagine that they are similar....however, dry ice kief is way easier to make, IMO....someone else chime in...?

Only one load of mine was greenish, it was the last load. Everything else was golden brown or pale brown.....ATB!

this is the plushberry pheno i have kept. incredible sweet smell and taste. Kind of smells like raspberry iced tea mix, thats how sweet im talking. Crap loads of trichomes and got good ice water hash yield that was also incredible. smoke a couple bowls in the morning and it really relieves my back pain, doesnt knock me down unless i have more than a few bowls... Keeps me up and feeling good, overall euphoria. finishes in 50-55 days

I planted three seeds of each and 2/3 after a month have female preflowers so i moved them from there 2 gallon pots into there final 10 gallon pots with the super soil in the bottom this is my first time with the SS recipe. I am gonna veg these another 3 weeks or so maybe a bit longer let them turn into small bushes. Im vegging these under a 1000 watt metal halide right now. Just also started some Space Bomb, Pandoras Box, and some Time Wreck seeds that were popping there shell tops in 48 hours wanting to be in soil bad. You can see that the regular Roots Organic burned them when they went into there two gallon containers there looking better but now we will see how they do in the RO 707 i have bags of it i need to use up so thats what there in with the SS at the bottom. I cant wait for this top quality smoke i was thinking about using my RIpped Bubba male to pollinate a Royal Purp Kush plant i have going outdoors. Have a nice day everyone.

nice work everybody!.....last two pages have been pretty tight!...keep it dank....nugs
trying, Nugs, but you set the bar so damn high . :-|. . this JTR run has been full of challenges for me--thrips early on, at least two long power outages during lights on, recycled soil ran out of N early and I just let it ride to see what would happen, hot and sticky air around here all summer. But I think the TGA gear is gonna tough it all out once again and show me a little bit of good thang despite my growing problems. A day 40 bud

i hear you about challenges!....i had all sorts of weird shit to deal with lately.....some imbalance in my soil mix.......super soil made too light on the nutes....fucked up my %'s in a few plants.....early fades, too hot/dry....too much watering, leaching out my nutes....then out of the blue, lots of rain, high R.H....using liquids for supplementation...little bud mold in my D-Train.......too humid to dry trimmed buds....fuck....not a huge fan of this time of year, and really have to say July and August are two of my least fav months of the year.......hot, humid, storms, bugs, mold....lame.....but chugging along.....everything is doing quite well....making some killer teas with my ground comfrey and homemade castings...the outdo is taking off....i am waiting a bit for updates, but they will be coming soon, along with some vids...hopefully.......keep your head up bro.....early fades are lame, but it could be a whole lot worse......as we continue to learn!....be well brother, nugs:leaf:

Fuckin A that's it Mr. Murp! Beauty!

yeah, from what I have researched it seems to be spacebomb and chernobyl.
Years and years of looking at bud porn online and the frostiest plant I've ever seen is that "Golden Ticket" cut of Chernobyl. Never mind frostiest TGA strain, that's the most resin-covered plant I've ever seen, period.

Way to go, Sub.
