Dairy Queen Day 12 of flower in no-tills. This pheno grows like my 9lb hammer did. My best looking DQ in living soil so far. Just took my shangri-la clones outta the cloner and put them into solos. Looking forward to running that one!

Those DQ's are VERY healthy! How many grow cycles do you do per container before you start fresh over?

Thanks Mason! Ideally... endless cycles! I'm not sure how that's going to work though. I would have to think eventually the mix will need to be relimed and remineralized... but other than that, topdressing nutrients and organic matter should take care of what the plant needs. I think this is the 5th run with these particular no-tills the DQ are in. I'm thinking about sending in a soil sample from it once this run is complete, just to assess what exactly is going on with this particular mix. See how well i've been taking care of my nutrition without breaking it up and starting over.

I've just been topdressing with amendments mixed into compost at transplant into the no-till with a pretty broad spectrum of nutrients for veg (crab shell meal, neem meal, kelp, oyster shell flour, fishbone meal, alfalfa meal, insect frass, greensand, and sometimes rockdusts). In general i'd say it's about 1.5-2 cups worth of amendments mixed into the compost and just peel back the existing mulch, layer that mixture down, put mulch back over it and water it right in. that gets me through veg and the first 14 days of bloom, and then depending on how long of a finisher the plant is, i'll do one or two topdressings of a flower based amendment mix which contains an NPK of 3-7-4, and then i add insect frass and kelp to that mixture as well. either mix that with some compost again, or just peel back the mulch and scratch it into the surface. For long finishers i'll do an application around week 1 and then again at week 4 (because they take time to break down and become bioavailable), and for early finishers i usually just hit them once around week 2. These topdressings in flower have boosted my yields with organics tremendously because the recipe i was using and slightly modified (clackamus cootz recipe) i found to be lacking in long term K release.

niiiiiiiice. gettin ready to make some bubble this weekend myself. i hate how friggin long the process is though. Looking at getting a rosin press here pretty soon.

what is your bubble process? do you do the matt rize tech, fridge patty for 24 hours, freeze patty, then microplane once frozen? repress once it's dried for a few days....??

TimeWreck day 66. Smells like an old medicine cabinet mixed w/ earthy, floral and a little musky on the back end. Hungry girl the whole way through and grown straight up, not topped, otherwise it would take her forever to veg + very little stretch.

looks a lot like the JC2 i used to have, but I had horrible hermie issues with the pheno i received from friend. They were really prolific plants though.

I read in a reviews that it's prone to hermi too but i also read it was quite strong. It has a very pungent rotten lemon smell to it. Im still real early in flower. Still have 4 weeks as i'm going to do 8 weeks. Although I am trying out far reds at lights out to speed things up a bit.
    Cheers

I had some Jilly Bean that on the clones had the strongest menthol terps I have ever smelled! TGA has the terps!

Black Dahlia. Very sweet/sour-ish smell and potent + not a single late term nanner to be found on this one or the original seed plant.

Just finishing up some pennywise and quirkel. Maybe another few days to a week. If you see seed pods, that's intentional. I chucked to a few nugs.

No, I'm just a small scale rec grower. I don't think any of the labs in the state will even test your grow unless you are commercial. If I like the effects I may grow more. But I'm not going to go through the trouble and expense to have it tested.
